As a Castle Suite winner, I would not be upset if it were released for everyone, however, it would take away a little of the "specialness" of it. I would be happy though so that friends who did not win 1 could have their own.
(However, if you want to extend the analogy to RL, you cant purchase a night in Sleeping Beauty's Castle.) Should you be able to? And please don't reply with, "but it's a game."
Hope you are feeling better soon.
Because that's part of the game. Trading, strategy, guessing "what's next?" is all part of the game. Yes, it's a game and part of that game is the dealing and trading. To say there is no real meaning behind it would be like saying that everyone should get to own a Boardwalk and Park Place at the start of every game of Monopoly. Owning those properties is part of the game. There is not meaning behind it, it's not real, but it is what almost every Monopoly player's goal is.
Just because something is a game does not mean that everything should be handed on a silver platter to everyone. Where's the transferable life lesson of working for things you want?
But, it's not a game for children. Directly from VMK.com: "While many of VMK's players are between the ages of 8-14, VMK is designed to be enjoyed by Guests of all ages." It is designed to be kid-safe, but not just for kids.
Exactly! And while we are feeling "sad" for the kids, if you go into some of the most amazing rooms in vmk, guess who they belong to? That's right - kids. Trading, rarity, etc... adds an element to the game. Even if you don't keep score at a Saturday soccer game, I think adults would be mistaken to believe that kids don't keep track in their heads. It's competition - and most kids like that.
As for nothing new, a pin would be great, but I could really use a week to "recover" credit-wise. Heck - I'm even in debt to a friend. Once again, vmk mirrors real life. ROFL!!!
