11/6 - Wednesday
<P>Back to MK. Hit Aladdin ride on way back to the mountains. Did Big Thunder first. Jen loved it. Then Splash Mountain, which by the way had no water flowing on the main drop - looked lousy. There was water at the bottom, just none going down the hill. After that, went back and did Big Thunder second time. My daughter is hooked. Caught Tiki Birds on way back.
<P>Ghosts had apparently settled their labor dispute from previous day so we rode Haunted Mansion.
<P>Fireworks scheduled for 6:15. Decided to hop over to Epcot for the afternoon and then come back to MK. Walked all around World Showcase - rode the ride and ate churros in Mexico, caught the balancing chair act in France. Missed the living statues this time. Had an early dinner at the Land and went back to MK.
<P>Got a seat right in front of the castle not realizing that there was a show there at 5:40, so got to enjoy that prior to fireworks. On way out, stopped into Art of Disney to let the crowd die down. Had a nice conversation with CM Todd. We were reminiscing about things that aren't there anymore, like If You Had Wings and the original song to Carousel of Progress. The other CM, a young girl, had no clue what we were going on about. Turns out she was born in 1981! We tried to fill her in on some WDW history. No wonder things aren't the same in the parks anymore. Many of the CM's are too young to remember how things used to be.
