Broke out the passporter book today on the cruise & things to do in ports.

I think I'd like to do the kayaking in cc. Not sure about nassau yet.

We plan to stay on the ship in Nassau and enjoy the pool.
I just love being on the ship during port days because it is mostly empty

I did that at one of the ports, cc I believe, they cancelled the parasailing so I came back a little early & just sunbathed .

hello all.. hope eveyone is having a wonderful week. TGIF tomorrow. We are thinking about dolphin swim in Nassua. the kids really want to do that so 7 out of 12 of us might be doing just that. CC well we have no clue on what to do, More than likely we will be at the Family beach cause of my two little ones. The two teens will be with the other teens I'm sure...

How is that passporter book? Is it worth the $$. I thought about ordering one, but was not sure if I should or not..

The book is very informative & interesting. It was a great guide & helpful decision maker on my other cruises. It gives packing hints, rates tours, has pics & a guide to things on the ship. It is worth the money spent.

Did the dolphin thing on last tour. Great fun & interacting with the dolphin is cool as all get out.

Went to the bank today & was talking to the lady at the loan desk. Told her about getting the free day at Disney for my birthday. She showed me a poster she had about military & retired military getting in the parks free for 5 days. It's really great how they are taking care of military.

Well, needless to say, being retired military I'm taking advantage of that. I booked a week at Shades Of Green during August. Will probably hit the parks like a banshee & see if I can research finding a future place to live in Kissimee.

The temp here today on was around 55. I actually road the beltway today with windows down half way. It was wonderful out!!! Yeah I played hookie from work today, Had to take DH to a specialist for his shoulder he hurt at work.

After having nice weather since Saturday I'm done with the snow. You can keep it feenie sorry

Yes I think it's wonderful for Disney to take care of our HEROS!!! I have a cousin who served in Iraq and I'm so thankful he is home safe and sound, but found out he could go back .

It was in the low 30's this afternoon, Much better than the 6 it was on Sunday!
Tomorrow we are supposed to have a "wintery mix"... my favorite

so its looking like our November trip will start with a flight to California... Our friends are being offered positions in San Diego, that will be a very good move for their family... But it stinks for US! We plan to fly to California the saturday before our land/sea starts, visit with them for a few days, then fly to Orlando on Tuesday. (the flights to Orlando from San Diego are about the same as from NH, so it works in our favor, we get 2 visits for just one way extra...) (I have been obsessing about this for the past 3 weeks ever since they got "the call". Our friends are on the way home from their interview weekend. They have a soft offer, the financial offer will come sometime later this week, then notices will be given, and plans will be made.

I love California. Lived there for a while. I think I like Fla better, though.

Never been to CA, but would love to go. Only a few states I've been to FL, GA, NC, VA and thats about it. I have traveled more since I have been married and lovin it. DH says when we retire we going to get and RV and drive cross country. He loves to drive.

Hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Day!!! DH and I are take DD & her bo & his parents out to dinner tonight. DD is serious with the bo (as she calls him) She says he is the "one"! Mom is having a hard time dealing with this..

Have fun at dinner... Why do kids have to grow up so fast?

DH and I boycott Valentines day. We used to work in a jewelry store, and people were always under such pressure to get someone a gift even if they could not afford it. It was sad. DH has not gotten me roses since the year we came home from work and one of our cats had gotten into them and strewn them ALL over the house.... She came up to us with a rose in her mouth... NOW I wish I had a camera, THEN I wanted to kill her.

Dh and I are the same about Valentines day. I would have loved to see a picture of that. We usually don't go out, but this was a little different and we did have lots of fun. We drilled the kids and boy was their faces red at times. Dh & I and the BFParents think this is serious as well. Last night we did asked them if they plan to get married to atleast get through college one way or another. and both kids were in agreement to that. so that made me feel pretty good. They are such a cute couple.
