I've been using the numbers that were posted when the deadline for the FE exchange was reached. I believe it was 36 families participating. Is that not correct?

Firewood sales have started (finally) yay! All we needed was this cool snap to get it going.

F.E.'s Got to love 'em. While it's nice to have a count, bring extra. There's bound to be a cabin or two that have heard something about it, and are curious enough to hang something outside the room just in case.
Then find some cute/polite kid and say the following "I'm giving away gifts today. It's nothing real fancy. Go show this to your mommy and ask her if you can have it." This is how you get rid of the excess.

No news on the old home front, or the next one in Orlando. Maybe next weekend.

STS-129 is still on schedule for 11/12 at 4:04p and can launch until the 19th. I hope it's overcast enough to delay it for a few days.

Good Morning, KC, and all! Day shift, checking in.

We leave for florida in less than two weeks! NOT soon enough, clearly, since our livingroom already looks like a staging area. I packed the evening wear suitcase yesterday, to clear the deck for the cruise "daytime" suitcase. Dh has his stuff all out and on the couch in the loft, mine is in growing piles on the futon. The teddies stuff is all out.

30 days out was when it started. But "WE" won't be able to ask her until she gets home and on the computer.

She actually mentioned it yesterday at b'fast so I knew it was okay to ask. Turns out yesterday was Smee! He's such a cutiepie character. I absolutely must get a pic with him.

So breakfast yesterday was wonderful!!! Tonga toast, yummy coffee and an absolutely excellent b'fast companion!.... what more could a girl ask for. After b'fast MsTxMom and I walked outside for a moment so I could have a smoke before we got on the monorail (she's so kind... it was a bit chilly, but with as much insulation as I have, I'm loving these temps!). While we were out there, guess what bus drove up?

Only 3 weeks to go!!!!!!!

Then we tried to ride the monorail but they were having problems yesterday. We let the first one go by because it was absolutely PACKED. And then the station attendant let everyone know that the next monorail was also going to be rather full due to the problems they were having. So we decided to stroll over to the TTC. It was a very nice walk through the Poly and we had a wonderful time just strolling and talking. When we got to the TTC we decided to take the ferry over and the monorail back. That worked out wonderfully well for us and I got some fun pics of the castle and Space Mountain. After that we had to part ways because I had some shopping to do and she had to get a couple of things before heading back to the airport.

But, I guess if I had some crazed male chasing me I might run out in traffic as well. Good thing DH doesn't read the boards, he might think we need to test the theory!

KC you hearing this????? At least wait until I have life insurance again, okay?

Now why don't they have an emoticon on here that says BOO YANKEES! I was all set to write a snarky post directed to you Kevin, but then the stupid Yankees went and won.

Linda, I agree with you, Lands Ends swim suits rock! Denise, I have a 2-piece tankini from Lands End and I absolutely love it. I ordered the bottom (swim mini) and top in different sizes so I wouldn't have the "riding up" problem with the tankini (I also am pooh sized).

Okay, I'll have to give these a 2nd thought, huh? Sure would make potty breaks easier!!!

ok, now I guess I have to go to Land's end and buy something. My husband likes their tee shirts, too.

Sounds like I should do a bit of online shopping too. Shhhhhh, y'all don't tell KC.

I don't know that the numbers should be tallied again, but do you think we should have a roll call? Or do you feel like people who have decided against going have been good about updating the sheet when their decision was made?

I know I've seen a lot of notifications of the spreadsheet being edited. I finally got to the point where I wasn't even checking to see what had been updated anymore. I think it'd be sufficient just to bring a few extras if you can.
