We would love to do the Dolphin Swim I will have to check that out.

One group is doing the Dolphin Royal Swim at 11 am. The other group is doing the Dolphin Encounter at 1 pm. We all booked directly with Dolphin Discovery. You can find out all the details at their website. http://www.dolphindiscovery.com/cozumel/cozumel-location-overview.asp

Dolphin Discovery is located in Chankanaab Park. So before/after you do the dolphin program, you can explore the park, lounge on the beach, go swimming and snorkling, etc.

Me,KC and our DS's are doing the zipline,through DCL. It looks like there might be another family, but IM not sure(sorry).
I believe its nearby the Dolphin swim.

Meet at the Mickey Mouse statue outside Luminere's at 9:15. We will plan to leave at 9:30.

Sandiegosusie (me) will be buying the DVD or video from the Dolphin Encounter, and DH will burn copies for everyone that wants to chip in.

We will be leaving all together after the Dolphin Encounter which starts at 1:00, to stay safe in a group.

Sound great! We (DH, DD and I) will meet the rest of the group in front of Luminere's. As for the video, that is a wonderful idea!!

Does anyone know how Dolphins Discovery charges for photos? When we were in Cabo, we went in with another family for a CD instead of printed photos - we got 15 digital pics for $129. It beat $25 per photo. Maybe we can do the same with photos as well?

I am gold but by the time we all cruise together, I will be platinum. DH will still be at gold but that is OK - he will be platinum by the time we finish this cruise. I think it will be very interesting. I called to ask a question regarding how fast the process will be to move between levels and she didn't know. She also said there was some sort of meeting tomorrow and they would have the answers then. I need to be patient.

While we are not participating in the dolphin swim/encounter, I enjoy reading all of your plans and it is great to see that you have worked your transportation out.

Our DH's are scuba diving together, so if the Encounter finishes before they are done, you and I and our DD's can hang out together and wait for them. Then we could find a taxi and go back together.

I have tried the Castaway Club site a couple of times to see the "new" stuff but wasn't successful till tonight. Thanks for the heads up! I also learned something pretty important, it looks like Silver members don't get invited to the party with the crew now. I really wanted to go but I scheduled DH and my spa massage at the time they normally have it and was being torn to book an earlier treatment. Now I can be guilt free for the later time.

P.S. - I always luv to hear the MI weather report you give, I miss my home state.

As for the taxi voucher, it was a special when we booked, it was also written in our confirmation and stated something to the fact to present letter to driver and they would pay when we got to Chankanaab Park.

As far as the photos and pictures; the pictures are individual so for me, dh and three kids they took close up pictures of the dolphin hug, kiss, shake and something else? I think there were 4 total. They gave you a deal if you bought all for your family but we only bought the three kids. We also got the video, which was very nice as our group consisted of my family another family we met on dis boards and one more dis friend (her kids were not old enough to do the royal swim and doing the dolphin encounter) So we knew our entire group, and I still like to watch this. I do not remember the cost off hand...but I will look up and let you know, I still have the receipt somewhere.

So far we have nothing booked for Cozumel, we will have to see... Chat night sounds like a great idea, we actually had a chat night (i hate to admit 3 nights a week) on our last cruise, this was a great way to get to know each other prior to cruising! we started our chat night more than a year prior to the cruise and built up the nights about six months prior. Yes, we are addicted!

We are Castaway Club member, but silver. On the web site I found that silver begins after 1st cruise is completed, gold begins after 5th cruise in completed, and Platinum begins after 10th cruise is completed. So we will not be invited to the onboard reception. The on onboard reception is on 4 night cruises or longer. Sad We were so looking foward to it. Gold and up will have special onboard shopping opportunities! Will someone take me with them to the special onboard shoppping opportunities?

Hey there! I've not posted in awhile but am excited about the cruise! Have the kids started to chat anywhere? I have a DD12 and a DS8 who would love to get to know some kids and make friends before the cruise starts! Let me know if that has started...

Well, there's separate sections for the kids groups on our private board so they could chat there. Also, there's IM information on the spreadsheet so if you're okay with them using your IM account (or theirs) you could list their info there.

Though, I think they were ganging up on me and KC, something about the zipline breaking because of my size

It's funny, get a few in me and I feel like IM 16 again. So if you see me on the waterslide, watch out

I figure that should be fun to watch... too bad they don't have a video option at the zipline. I'd love to see the look on yours and KC's faces as you zip through the forest after having a few!

I think the Friday night chat is some standard general cruise chat they have here on the DIS or something. I've never participated in it. And I can't be in the chat room on Friday nights because that's when I get to see my family again and I'll be catching up with KC and the eating machines. But the chatroom on my site is always available to anyone that wants to use it.

BTW, sorry again for anyone that felt left out. I believe I sent a PM to folks that were listed as doing the dolphin things last weekend but when I checked the spreadsheet Wed the number of families had seriously grown (like doubled!). So I'm sorry y'all felt left out... I should have checked the spreadsheet closer to the chat. But Susie posted everything we discussed becuase it really was just talking about transportation and such (and razzing KC and xxcell, which is always fun).

ALASKA baby!!!(on the Wonder), Mexican Rivera, several Repositioning cruises for the Wonder (a Panama Canal Crossing, a LA to Vancouver, then a Vancouver to LA), A Trans-Atlantic (On the Magic), as well as the Med (also on the Magic), and to top aal that off 3/4/and 5 night cruises for the Dream!!!

Holy cow that's one very active cruis schedule for Disney... Wish I could take 1 of each cruise that year, but I think we'll be taking an Alaskan Cruise only.
