Just an FYI for anyone waitlisted for main dining - I booked this cruise on 7/11 and was switched to Main dining today. I can't believe how fast it happened. I had originally booked another resie earlier, but cancelled and rebooked it to get the TA off the reservation. I guess I don't have to worry about getting to the port at the crack of dawn now! Gail - your pictures are great. Glad the wedding went smoothly.

Great wedding pictures!! I am making FE's (with all the names) for each cabin. Denise--we have another set of relatives coming, so we have another cabin, too, now!! Everytime we go to visit, everyone wants to have a cruise meeting to talk about excursions, dinners, menus, servers, rooms, and on and on. They are all so excited!! Me, too!!

LOL Barbara. Disney should comp your stateroom as a referral bonus.

For all those that are waiting... AP rates are out through december. unfortunately POFQ is not included :( So we changed our reservations to POR.

There's hope!! I've been waitlisted since they opened the date to book. With a 2 year old, I really need main seating.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to do the FE. I have something in mind, but I've been struggling with how to make it work (so it's not too expensive, huge to bring/send and still be functional/appreciated). I'm so excited to make these!!I just need an idea of how many families we're looking at. Should I just count cabins on the spreadsheet? Last I saw, there were about 36. Any idea of additions?

I know you're disappointed to not get POFQ, but I have to admit - I prefer POR. It has beautiful walkways (and is just a hop, skip and a jump from POFQ's beneits!)

:scared1::scared1::scared1: Page 2??? Not us! We are page one material I say!

So, not that I have a few weeks to relax before round 2, I think it might be a good idea to do some planning. I need to figure out FE gifts as well as excursions. I really would like to do Nachi in Cozumel so maybe we will just have another 'sea day' in Grand Cayman and stay on the ship. Off to see what mischief I can get myself into. Have a great evening!

YEP! They will. Those are beatiful picture's of you and the boy's. Congradulation! Your new DIL is beatiful. and love the color sceme, our's was blk./wht. even her gown.

Thanks! Someone, somewhere asked if my DIL liked Disney - well, Nick proposed after dinner in Palo when we cruised several years ago. She does like cruising but has not had much park "experience". She just finished her advanced degree in physical therapy so she has been a busy girl these past few years but not that that is out of the way, maybe she can enjoy the mouse some. We have owned DVC since '93 so Nick has been many times.

I have been messing (more, still) with our flights. Good ole Northwest has us on a schedule with a 4 hour layover in Detroit. I don't think so. We could drive home from there faster than waiting and flying to Traverse City. I really think that I am going to change this to Grand Rapids as there are so many more options. Longer drive but even with the extra car travel, it is faster than sitting in DTW.

Have any of ya'll been to Cozumel before and done the "Jeep Exploration" shore excursion? If so, what did you think of it?

MVMCP Definately worth it! You get into the park at 4 pm with the ticket-You get a wrist band. At 7 pm all those without wrist band leaves and you enjoyt the park...parades are7 or 730 and 930.....Amazing parade. Starts off the holiday season like nothing else!!!!!

That was me who asked! And I am glad to hear she's a fan!

That is the best! You drive across the island in the jeeps (standard transmission), make a short stop at the PeePee Station (yes, that's the name of the place and it's a very kitschy tourist trap - but it has restrooms, the last you'll see for a couple hours), then head off into the bushes - literally. We drove these sandy paths with bushes coming in on either side of the jeep - Michael (my bf's hubby) would wait and let the car in front of us get really far away, then gun it - we'd slip and slide on the sand. My sides hurt from laughing!

The ruins aren't much. Even our guides were laughing about how small they were - but the view of the ocean from there was spectacular! We started heading back, but stopped at the private beach where they had tacos and fajitas cooking on the open fire for our lunch. YUMMMM!!!! We got to spend about an hour eating and playing in the ocean and on the sand before heading back. One quick stop at the PeePee station, then we were back at the shopping center at the port.

We just wore our swimwear under our clothes - and take water. They'll have some available at the lunch site, but otherwise you're buying it at the PeePee Station.

On the last couple of Western Navigators I saw they switched Pirate night to Tuesday so that you could have the full day/night at Cozumel and not be too tired for Pirate night. Is that the norm now? I don't know.

I hope Pirate Night pirate: is Wednesday in Cozumel, because then I want to do Palo :snooty: on Tuesday. ;)

Kinda cool that Monday is Formal Night. It is also DW's birthday, so maybe we'll get dressed up and all go out for a nice meal somewhere :lmao:

... and I just checked the DCL website (newly updated) for our reservation and our waitlisted main dining came through :banana::banana: , although we are still GTY for a Cat 6.

Have a good weekend all.
