And how does this all work?

You need to make a FE for your door or you can buy one. I've seen the gift giving done multiple ways. Gifts for each person including adults as some cabins are adults only anyway. Or a gift that applies to the whole cabin like a picture frame for their trip. I am doing one gift per person on one night. You could do nightly gifts if you chose. Our gift is a little bulky so don't want to add to much more to our luggage.
