11/13/04 Eastern Cruise only We Did It

Anyone from NY on our cruise?
Had to go to the city today for a security show, we usually park at the ferry terminal, go across the river and get off about 1 block from the Jacobs Javits Center.
Instead, I went over the GW Bridge and ended up somewhere near 179th street, (wow) We live in the country and the traffic is a rush. I just can't imagine how the people put up with that every day.
Now I really need a vacation.

Ok I want to know which one of you women was sitting on Jen last night, while in the chat room, and making her stay up late. LOL

I think she's trying to frame one of us cause she got busted sleeping at her desk at work.

It took her so long to get in the chat room and stay I figured she was there under her own free will.

Sorry you're so exhausted today Jen. Have a nice cold diet root beer and head to bed early tonight.

Well, my computer is running at minimum performance levels now. At least I was able to catch up on the latest.

If all goes well (and it isn't), we leave Saturday! We don't check into OKW until Monday, but we want to stop in Franklin, KY and visit some friends, see the plant. But, it's been one giant hurdle after another this week. May just leave Sunday. Send some Pixie Dust my way, help me leave this place behind on time!!

Pixie dust to you Vicki. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

Although we intend to suprise the girls with this we ARE leaving here Saturday evening about 10pm.

We added an extra day to our resort stay so we don't have to drive all night then hit Typhoon Lagoon exhausted. We can just lay around the pool on Sunday as well as drive around the resort exploring the layout.

Things here at work are crazy but tomorrow at 4:00pm...I am starting my VACATION!!! I am picking Ken up from the airport and we are going to dinner and then are going shopping for the last of the stuff that we need for the trip.....camera, film, Mt. Dew, liquor, etc....

Well, we went to Disneyland this past weekend, and have reservations for overnight on the 20th when we get back from the cruise and then spend the next day at Disneyland again. We are definitely getting in a Disney state of mind!! How great is it to sandwich a cruise between the Park visits??!! Life is GREAT!!!

OK, I have not even started to pack!!! I should do that soon. But, with the election (I am the treasurer for a US Rep out of CT) and soccer 4x a week, plus work and the house...who has time? Oh well, whatever I forget I will just have to do without or buy.

Susan the kids are going to be sooooo excited!!! How great!!


I was wondering if anyone is going to be around on Tuesday to chat? I am sure most are leaving, but I was just wondering. I have really missed you guys!!
