Hey Tina,,,,one RN to another, what is the deal with this new law???? my boss was talking about it today but us "worker bee" RN's are in a union....it is in our contract that we get paid overtime....how do you think it will affect you?Originally posted by TinaRN
To all of you....Sorry I haven't been around much. For some reason my life has gotten very busy, and I'm not really making any OT!!! Speaking of which, I hope the new OT law doesn't affect me. I NEED the money for DCL cruises!!! I don't think it is going to effect me though!

TIA, Pat
We don't have a nurses union in kentucky.

I have finally come up for air after having all the kids. I managed to survive ok, but whoa, what an experience.
The countdown is on. I have my formal night dress but it doesn't fit yet!!! I finally got off my butt and started working out again. So, keep me in your thoughts because I need all the help I can get. I have 17.5 pounds to lose before the cruise and about 12 weeks to do it in. Thank God formal night is right away and not at the end of the cruise. I may not fit into my dress again by then with all that food tempting me!!!

Sounds like the beginnings of a challenge, Jeanna! I'll challenge you to a 17.5 lb loss.

Start your walking and keep plenty of cold root beer on hand!
