11/13/04 Eastern Cruise only We Did It

Well, guys! We made it. We are back home now. Fort Lauderdale was great! Did anyone miss me?? Pat we have some pictures for you of the place you are going to be staying at. We stayed on the Galt Ocean Mile which is very private. The beach is all public but you have to gain access to the beach by key. Otherwise, you can access it by the public area then walk for a while to get there (which nobody does). The beach was gorgeous!! The kids got a taste (literally!!) of what the cruise will be like. Now, we can't wait for it to be here!

Tracy ~ Just got your email, sent you a reply. Hope this is good news for you.

In case anyone is interested, the weather was great! On the way to the airport this morning, we had the top down on the rental car and the boys were complaining that it was cold. Too bad it was 80 degrees!! LOL

Can't wait to chat with all of you and get caught up... running out now to do some errands... no one got paid while I was gone so I have to do payroll before everyone hunts me down!!

Chat soon!!!

Jeanna ~ glad you had a great time and your weather was good. We have missed you. Don't forget...Tuesday night chat!!:chat:

Jeanna, glad you are back and had a great trip:sunny:

Bet it won't compare to November though, or next December.

Vicki, don't listen to a word John says, I don't live on these boards. I just check out the first page on a daily basis and put in my two cents worth when I can.

Sorry I won't be able to join you ladies on Tuesday night, unless it is for only 30 minutes, right before I go to bed. We'll see:chat:

"Used this bag on a recent vacation to Disney World in Orlando, FL. Carried sweating cold drinks in the insulated part, and maps, ponchos, cameras, etc. in the other compartments. The bright yellow color prevented people from walking into it while pulling it behind or beside us. It fit in an overhead compartment of a Continental 737-200. Several people stopped and asked where we purchased this item. We told them e-bags.com."

"It works really well. I have it in the back of my vehicle and use it frequently for shopping. When I have cold or frozen items I put it in so it stays good while I continue shopping or until I get home. Works good for vacations, too. I really like the convenience of the wheels."

Wow. DISveteran already! I'm unworthy! there's still so much to learn, so much more to ask!!! I will try to carry out my DISvet duties to my bestest abilities. :teacher: Is there a code, or a secret handshake? there ought to at least been some kind of exam.

Cool tag Susan! what do you mean, Tigger's not on the boat???:earseek:

Jen:sunny:  :hyper:  :earboy2:

Congrats to you Jen. I made it too. None of the Winnie the Pooh characters are one the boat:sad:

Tigger is my favorite and the only time I get to see him is WDW.

I agree 100% Jen, we are just S.O.L. when it comes to our favorites.

An extra Palo's dessert will help....just a little.

Thanks to the chat last night and Jeanna, I have booked REAS. My TA called and added it to our cruise, however, I still am not sure of what choices I have to make and who I need to call. I know that I can choose a dining rotation of which we would like PLAPLAP. I also need more information about the two types of massage, when to plan this stuff, when to plan PALO...etc!! My TA added it and then told me that I will be contacted once on board.

Yikes, I am freaking out here!!

Jeanna, I still think that you should become a TA (specializing in DCL of course).

Trish, I hate to give you the bad news but your TA gave you some bad info. One of the benefits of booking the package is that you can pre-book some of your reservations. Look for me on IM and I can let you know of all of your choices and what course to take to get this taken care of with the least amount of stress. I will be on later tonight.

I will keep that in mind about becoming a TA in case my day job doesn't pan out! :hyper:

Yeah Jeanna, since John already SWEARS that you are a TA in sheeps clothing, so to speak, maybe you should go ahead and go for it.

Jeanna spent some time with me last night helping me with our REAS!! She really is amazing!!!!!

I called Debbie today, and this is what I have reserved:

Well being massage Monday at 10:30
Palo dinner on Friday at 8:30
Palo bruch on Thursday at 12:00
I also requested PLA rotation

Jeanna, I got my first choice for everything!!!! I can't thank you enough.

That's great Trish! Just want to alert you though - I too made Palo brunch for Thursday (although a little earlier), until my DS pointed out that was our morning for Character Breakfast. If you get PLAPLAP, Thursday will be your character breakfast too.

Probably won't make a difference to you with a 12 ressie, but just letting you know. :sunny:

I did point that out to her, Jen. ::yes:: But, she will have to eat lunch so she took the latest time available. With all the other reservations and wanting to do it all on at sea days, it was getting to the point where she needed to take that one or she would have to skip brunch so she opted for it anyway. Even if she only eats a little bit, she would still get the opportunity to do it rather than miss it alltogether, which, if she had to miss it, would be sad. Don't they realize how hard it is to do all the things we want?? :hyper: Why can't they just keep things simple?? But, if they did that, us obsessive people would need to find other hobbies!!! :hyper: :hyper:

Last night on the way home from work I saw a car with a licence plate that started with APLA (we have four letters, three numbers in Ontario now). The first thing that popped into my mind was "dining rotation"!!

Apparently, I really need a vacation!!

LOL, Tarabelle! It gets worse, wait till you start the cruise dreams!

Tina, we have missed you in chat! Sure hope you are on vacation and not working overtime!

Trish, I think Jeanna was a TA in a previous life!!:p

Jeanna, I've been stressing because there will be so much to eat, and so little time...how will I consume it all and still manage to order room service???:faint: :cloud9:

(lol tara!)
