11/13/04 Eastern Cruise only We Did It

Okay....my boss has decided that Ken and I need to come home from vacation with a "little souvenier"!!!:scared1:

Today, whenever I go into his office or walk by him, he starts singing the theme to The Love Boat!! He is nuts!!!

I think I feel a good practical joke coming on!!!!

Have a great day everyone!!!!

:D
DH's pirate outfit is done!! It looks REALLY great!! He is so excited. AAARRGGHH!

He is going to have a blast on pirate night!pirate:

I'm so overwelmed, I could scream!!!!!!!! :earseek: :scared: Unfortunately I have....to my DH!
And I'm glad to see I'm not the ONLY ONE who hasn't started packing! I DO have a stack as tall as me in my closet that is all for the cruise...so maybe that sort of counts!;) :teeth:

Now for my EXTREMELY LONG WEEKEND AT WORK!!!!!!!!!!:crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :faint: :faint: :faint:

I purchased a "power strip" so I can plug in my 'sound machine', battery charger, cell phone and hair dryer near the desk/vanity area.....does the plug there accept a 3 prong plug? I thought I would ask here before I posted on the 'regular' board,,,,figure you smarty ::yes:: pants would know ::yes:: !

Can you say--Go to the head of the ride line.

That's the right attitude (the going even if you have to be in a wheelchair)!

The daughter of a woman I worked with at the Disney Store had an accident at Fort Wilderness and ended up in a cast (with serious complications later). They got preferential treatment wherever they went. When I go to get on a ride and it's stopped because they are loading or unloading someone in a wheelchair, I'll be wondering if it's you!!!

Same here so I'm going to say that counts! Having kids over tomorrow to carve pumpkins so no packing until at least tomorrow night!

BTW...I'm doing my docs dance as they finally arrived today!!!! :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc

According to page 84 of the Passporter's Field Guide to the Disney Cruise Line "staterooms are outfitted with four standard U.S. 110v, three-pronged electrical outlets: two near the desk/vanity and two behind the TV. Two special outlets - one in each bathroom - are marked "for shavers only" and have a standard U.S. 110v, two-prong outlet along with a European 220v outlet (20 watts/20VA max.)"

Of course, I DO have the Passporter....just never thought to look  ....must be the STRESS........are we having fun yet ::yes:: ?

edited to add have the power strip and a 12 foot extension cord,,,thanks!

So Glad you got your Tickets !!!

Susan, definitely milk the WC thing ......

Out for the evening ... see you guys around :jester:

The outlets will accept a three prong plug, you should bring a power strip and a 6-9 foot extension cord is good to have, I use a C-Pap machine and the extension is the only way to get power over to the nightstand, the two bedlamps take up the outlet that is there.

C O U N T D O W N to November, 2,1 Blastoff::yes:: ::yes::

Then 9 days to WDW

LOL, I've had my family packed since the end of August!>

Probably because you live in a place where it's not still summer! Tomorrow will be 81 here and we are still wearing our cruise/summer clothes. The only things we've packed thus far are swimsuits and pool/beach accessories.

Suzanne - If you are near Atlanta you don't live too far from me. Atlanta is about 3 hrs away. That is how it is here! HOT! I have swimsuits and sunscreen type stuff packed and the few things that we bought "just for the cruise", but nothing else. We are still wearing them! I'll be washing and ironing all day and night on the 11th!

Hope you are all having a good evening.

It is definitly NOT hot here! We have had nice thick layers of frost on our car every morning this week.
The question is... Will snow fly before we leave... (man I hope not!) I guess it already has in the mountains, just not at our house yet.
Woo Hoo!! It's almost NOVEMBER!!
Yeah!!

Same here except our high tomorrow is 87! :crazy2:

And now my DD has outgrown all of her shorts! And even though it is still hot as heck here, you can only find winter clothes! We don't even get a decent winter here, so why do they sell heavy winter wear?!!:confused3

Tina - I used to travel to Baton Rouge all the time for a job I had when we lived in Mobile. I agree we don't get a winter at all! Why are there ski parkas for sale at Walmart? Good luck finding some shorts for your DD. Have you looked on Ebay? I find a lot of nice clothes for Aubrey on there for very cheap. Most of them still have the tags on them.

HOpe everyone has a good weekend. I'll be in and out. Talk to you all soon.

I hope it's not like that in Florida. I really need more than one pair of shorts! I'm evening thinking of ordering from LLBean but don't know how long it might take to get to Canada. Guess I should make up my mind soon!

in my wildest dreams did i think we would hit 132 pages!!!! 2 weeks to go. i cant wait. this will be a vacation to remember. all is good at this end. everyone is still healthy. :yo-yo: ::yes::  pirate: :jester: :earsboy:

Tara - It's going to be that way in FL too. You might still find some shorts but the selection won't be great. Are you going to be stopping somewhere in the us first? I did see a post about being able to ship things to the port to meet you there. Could you maybe order from a catalog but have them shipped there?

Tina, have you checked Old Navy, Gap, and Lands End (either online or at Sears)? This is the best time of year for me to get shorts for my boys. Good luck!

I never thought about that. I'm staying at Pop Century for the two nights before. However, I was thinking about ordering a 3-in-1 jacket, too, which I definitely do not need on this trip!
