11/13/04 Eastern Cruise only We Did It

Trish and I are starting to pack for the cruise. We are so excited, and the pictures of everyone are awsome. Can't wait to see you all, and have a drink with my DW on our veranda.

I can't wait to meet all of you in person! And I can't wait to eat a!!!!

I don't have that much packed. We bought some new stuff when it went on clearance and decided to save it for the cruise, so I packed it after washing it so that it won't be available. LOL Like I said, I don't have much in there, but its a start!

Pat, I don't have the answers to your questions, and I couldn't find that old post with the info, so I've posted the q on the main board.

Meanwhile.....for some reason, looking at my counter with only 64 DAYS LEFT....I almost started to hyperventilate!!! I don't know if it's from uncontrolled excitement, or sheer panic at all I have left to pack and plan!!!!

Thanks Jen - I do have a new 'card' for my camera that holds 199 pix at 2 stars and 96 at 3 stars.......I hope to get another deal before I go on the trip....and I have some 'smaller' cards around here someplace....got to find them. I also purchased a 'rapid' battery charger that charges 4 AA batteries in less then 1 hour so my plan is to shoot away and then review and delete the pictures from the cards each morning. But since I am going on a 2 week trip, I don't want to get caught short....maybe on the way to the port, I can stop somewhere??? and have my Aruba pix put on a CD disk???? I really don't know about this stuff!!!! HELP ....I feel technically challenged

So I can have my pix put on a CD disk and then download them to my computer at home???? and then on to shutterfly website to view and have prints made??????

If you are going to be anywhere near a walmart prior to the cruise, you can take your digital cards to them and they can either put the pics on cd or print the pics and put them on cd for you. I'm not sure the exact cost, but wouldn't be very much.

Once you have them on cd, you can upload them to any website host, such as photobucket or shutterfly. You can email them from the cd or print pics from home on your computer or even take the cd back to walmart for prints to be made.

Thanks Mama.....I guess my problem will be time,; we do not arrive in Orlando from Aruba until 9:30 p.m. Friday night - by the time we get our car and luggage and get out of the airport....it will be 11 ish. And the next morning I want to get to the port by 10:30-11 soooooo.......I guess I will be buying more cards!

I have been going to the gym lately (the kids are back at school, so it is much easier) so I think that might really be helping.

Getting there is so hard, but once I am there I really am glad I went.

Our church has a gym that dh goes to every morning (weekdays) before work. I never seem to be able to go though. No one to watch Aubrey and by the time dh gets home from work, I have dinner to make and such by the time I am done with everything they are closed.
