11/10/05 Wonder 3-nights Anyone going?

Purtypat; You are so sweet for checking airfare for my dates!! However, if we were going to fly Spirit we would fly out of Atlantic City as we live in S. Jersey (just outside of Phila.). I checked to see if maybe the sale applied to AC but the prices are unbelievable, something like $258 each way !!!!!
Oh well I'll keep looking,
Peace,

Hi purtyPat1- Thank you you the info on this thread. I'm really new to this and just figuring out how it works. I did answer your note but don't know if you received it because I didn't see it posted. My grandaughter will be 6 at time of trip and the little one will be 14 mos so they will not be playmates for your 11 year old daughter. Our grandson will be about 2 and a half. We are hoping to spend lots of time with them so you might see our daugheters at the adult pool and us in the Mickey ear with the spray going and the swim diapers! That's what so great about this trip. Something for everyone and everyone can trade off! This is our 2nd time on the Wonder but first time with our family so we are really looking forward to it. We still have a lot of arrangements to make so I'm sure I'll be posting again and again!

NSmith- Hi saw your post on the 11-10-05 -11-13-05 thread. We just booked (7-6-05)and are going to start the airlines search. We are in the middle of NJ so AC, Newark or Philly are possible for us. I have looked at Spirit and was really surprised at the prices. So much for th $79 air fairs. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I have checked airtran out of philly, US3000 out of philly and spirit out of AC.
Airtran and US3000 have some decent deals but we would have to go outbound earlier Sat 5th and maybe come home a day later Mon the 14 , with some connecting, go to theor sites to see it this works for you.

We are waiting on southwest for now I really think they may release their scheldule this week, so if we can't get a decent rate with them I may do some changing in our scheldule, :worried: I would rather save money on airfare and spend it on the vacation even if that means going a little longer.

I totally agree with your statement about the airfares. :sad2: Southwest came into the Philly market after our last trip (for which we had airfare Tue to tues at $162.00 pp round trip) I thought it would be even cheaper this time on SW, but Sunday to Sunday is not the bargain time to fly.

Good Luck, Peace,

Hi, to you all. We are a family of 4 from England and its our first cruise ever. This will be our 3rd Holiday in Florida as a family and we will be spending the week prior to sailing in a superb house in Formossa Gardens. We look forward to seeing you all on board, and our kids DD(8) and DS(6) are slighltly nervous at the thought of so many teachers on board. We are delighted as we can guarantee good behaviour all round. :teacher:

Hi Petsar,
I am sure you will have fun in Formossa. I can't wait until our cruise! Tell the kids that they have no need to be worried. Us teachers are known for having tons of fun. :Pinkbounc In fact, I know I will be running around acting just like the children. Sometimes my brother has to remind me that I really need to stop acting as a 12yr old.

We will have to plan a time and place to meet on the first day.

Hello to all of you!
Our grandaughter will be 6 at the time of the trip and I'm sure would love to make two new friends from England!Keep in touch!

Thanks.
We look forward to seeing you all. You will be able to spot us as we will be the ones with the 'funny accent' and drinking tea with our breakfast!

We have accents too. We were born in the Caribbean and I grew up drinking tea with my breakfast. :goodvibes

And you should hear my Alabama accent :rotfl: Just teasing...I'm an 'army brat'...no particular accent. But...I do enjoy morning tea (sans the cream ;) )

Can't wait to meet some disers on the cruise. As mentioned earlier our children are 9 DS and 11 DD if anyone would like to let their children PM ours they would love to make a friend or two before the trip.

Peace,

Hi This will be our first cruise ever! Traveling with my husband and ten year old daughter and 8 year old son. We will be off-site at WDW from 11/4-11/10 then bon voyage! We haven't decided on things like going to Palo or shore excursions. Any recommendations? We will be on deck 7, category 5.

HI wackywexler,

"Congratulations," your going to love it.

My suggestion, do everything on the ship since you only have 3 days, except Bahamas day, there are many things to do.

There are many excursions, just depends, on your likes & dislikes.

We are beach lovers, & are going to Cable Beach in Bahamas.

Are you from NJ? Where are you staying the night before your cruise?

My DD just turned 11. She loved the club last year.

We are staying at the Raddison the night before.

We are you staying in Orlando?

Can't wait!!!!!

Patricia

Hi PurtyPat! We are from Southern California and spend lots of time at Disneyland but have never been to Florida. We are Marriott Time Share owners so we traded into the Marriott Cypress Harbour for our stay. We are taking a red eye and landing at 6am Friday the 4th and checking out the morning of the 10th to get to the ship!! My husband is really looking forward to relaxing after 6 days in the parks!!! We are trying to decide if we should forgo one of the restaurants and do Palo? Nassau didn't look too exciting but I thought about checking out Atlantis, but I think hubby might prefer to lay about on a beach by then or we could just enjoy the ship. Thanks!

We are from New Jersey and going on the cruise on Nov. 10. Our boys will be 7 and 6 years old at the time of sailing. Does anyone else have kids this age?

Thanks for the list! We can't wait!! 109 days and counting!
