I'm going to be on this cruise with my best friend for a girls only, no kids, no spouses, no pets get away.

Anyone else? Anyone wanting to do Fish Extenders?

It just can't get here fast enough for me!

I'm just the opposite... wife couldn't get off work and don't want to take the daughter out of school so I'm going solo cause I'm having withdrawl ... haven't been on a cruise since Summer Med cruise so I signed up for this one today!!!!!

Whats the story with fish extenders can I get in or is it too late????

3 weeks from today theFishes are spending the day at Kennedy Space Center. We received complimentary passes from our congressman. I can't believe there only two weekends left to prep - I feel so behind. I'm going to have to make a honeydo list for Mr. Fish!

PHILCT: I've never been on the Dream, but from your description it sounds like the safes are fairly standard ones, working the same way like many others you will find worldwide in hotels. You put in your stuff, close the door, enter a 4-digit number (you can choose that number by yourself) and then confirm it by pressing a "Lock" or "Set" button, which causes the safe to lock. If you want to open it again, all you do is to enter that number and the door will unlock. Pretty easy.

I will provide the disclaimer that I was only half-watching this, but I thought I saw a news blurb about many hotel safes having a "back-door" code of all zeroes for the staff to use - perhaps to clean things out between guests or if a guest realizes that they left something in the safe after they checked out.

As I said, I wasn't paying full attention, but it did sound a bit frightening!

That could very well be true, although I personally never heard about that. But I'm sure it happens often that guests forget something in there and the method you described sounds like the easiest one to retrieve things in such situations. A bit frightening, you are right.

Well, 3 weeks from now, I'll be relaxing at Disney's Vero Beach Resort, which I have chosen as my Pre-Cruise stay. That will be my first time there.

Hi All~
I finally got my cabin number which will be 9507 which is a 11A. Will we still be doing a cabin tour? I know I was supposed to be an 8A but they messed up and put me on Deck 5 and due to personal issues I can not be on that deck and was supposed to be on the same deck as my scooter bound mother which was Deck 6. They couldn't get me on Deck 6 at an 8A but had an 11A available on deck 9. I'm still able to do the deck tour if an 11A isn't already taken. Please just let me know, thanks!

And DIS meet/greets? Champagne Girls? I'm getting so excited to be going in a few more weeks!!! Oh and thanks to Tammy for doing the FE!!!

Just got off the Magic yesterday and have booked this cruise and the 11/10 as a back-2-back. Can't think of a better way to celebrate my 11/7 birthday than to check out the Dream.


It's a long time to wait, but I do have the Panama Canal on the Wonder to look forward to first.

geffric, I'm exhausted just reading your WDW activities! My friend and I did do 4 parks/one day once, but I think there was only one attraction per park that day! Sending you a PM also.

I promised myself I would not start out the day on the computer...looks like that didn't happen, so I've set the timer and have to get up when it goes off. Got to organize bills and start the packing piles!

Speaking of mail. Remember to go on the US Mail website and have your mail put on hold while you are gone. Also remember to contact your bank and credit card company and alert them to out of state/out of country travel plans. Gotta remember to remind my family of that task too!

Bummed that somehow I didn't get put on the list for FE so I have pm'd the person in charge and hopefully some of you might still be able to include my family or at least my kiddos! I will hopefully receive the list soon so that I can buy the items for everyone involved. I feel bad that I haven't been more active on the thread but it has been a crazy busy time for my family...we just moved and got settled in our new place. In fact, I kind of feel bad right now because instead of playing with my kids this morning I have set them both up watching movies so that I can get caught up on here! I feel like I am forgetting something!
