11/06/11 Dream 4 Day

If we do the stateroom tour we can stop in on my stateroom. It is number 6666 and we are Category 8D Deluxe Oceanview.

Bummed that somehow I didn't get put on the list for FE so I have pm'd the person in charge and hopefully some of you might still be able to include my family or at least my kiddos! I will hopefully receive the list soon so that I can buy the items for everyone involved. I feel bad that I haven't been more active on the thread but it has been a crazy busy time for my family...we just moved and got settled in our new place. In fact, I kind of feel bad right now because instead of playing with my kids this morning I have set them both up watching movies so that I can get caught up on here! I feel like I am forgetting something!

I hope you all are having a great day,

Thanks,
SarahMay

I sent you a pm and I also emailed you the most recent list!

Thanks so much and thanks to everyone who can still accomodate us. I understand that it may be difficult for some who have already completed their FE's and if we have a few less than we might have otherwise, my kids won't know the difference so don't worry too much.

I can't believe the cruise is getting so close...I keep feeling like I am forgetting something!

I should have gone to the dry cleaners today to take in some linen trousers but I didn't. There were too many things to do around the house. Luckily I still have a couple of weekends left to get some errands done.

:woohoo: My niece and I put together our FE stuff today. One thing checked off our list.

Room Safe. They definitely have other ways to get into the safe and reset it. Last year on our cruise, my parents were in the room next door and they had safe problems. Couldn't get it to open regardless of entering the correct code. Had lots of trouble with the safe. They had people in the rooms for several hours to fix it. Apparently it was a difficult job. Mom was crazy and mad for spending so long in her room baby sitting the workers. She didn't want to leave her valuables out while they fixed the safe. I told her she should have put her things in my safe and then gone on with her day, but she didn't.

If you are truly intersted in the specifics, I will ask her exactly what that safe problem was.

It's early, an I have to go off to lead my Sunday morning WW meeting, but I thought I'd ask a silly question:

What's the oddest thing you're packing for a Disney cruise that you'd never before ever think you'd take on a vacation?

Welcome, Christa!

PS: Will the stateroom tours take place? Would be glad to offer my stateroom too! I'm in a 05C Deluxe Oceanview with Verandah, #7662.

I will try to attend the meet as well. Will be tricky to remember with the kids in tow and all the family coming too. But, I'll try!

What's the oddest thing you're packing for a Disney cruise that you'd never before ever think you'd take on a vacation?
I haven't started thinking about packing but I do have something I have never brought on a cruise ...a bathing suit...have to ride the aquaduck...

My flights are confirmed and I'm finally holding my air tickets in my hands, arrival at MIA is on Nov. 2nd at 6:50pm on Swiss Flight LX 064 from Zurich on one of their brand-new Airbus A330-300's. I love flying and aircrafts, so I look forward to, despite it's a 10 hours and 45 minutes nonstop flight.

What's the oddest thing you're packing for a Disney cruise that you'd never before ever think you'd take on a vacation?

Definitely the door decorations.

I wanted to take my Barkalounger, but shipping was too expensive!

I was at WW this morning too. Down 9.8. Would love to get that number down to 14 by cruise time!.

.

Great job with WW ibouncetoo!

Champagne girls - opening time at Pink on Sea Day - should be 5 but perhaps we can just set it at opening time in case its a little earlier?:cloud9:

This is a reminder.....

Daylight savings time ends on Sunday 11/6/11 at 2 am.

Which means don't forget to set your clocks backwards 1 hour to make sure that you do not show up to the port before it even opens!

Enjoy the extra hour of sleep - I know I will! :goodvibes

The only thing better would have to have already been on the ship and therefore getting the extra hour while we were on board!
