DI and TI, yes, been to them in many ports. Silver I think the ship may have some good prices, but for stones, the best prices might be in the stores. I got a really nice smokey quartz bracelet and pendant at EFFY, set in sterling, EFFY is in Nassau, and I got a really nice Citrine pendant at DI in the clearance area. If you go to the shopping talk you should get a discount card for EFFY and for DI and TI.

We will be renting a car from Avis - one way from MCO to Port, then Port to MCO - already reserved - just keep checking the rates!

Hi everyone, just checking in. I reserved a Comfort Suites room on Paradise Island so that Steve and I can go to Atlantis for our Nassau day. Got it at a AAA rate of $189. Of course, when they add the fees and what have you the price came to $248. Still saves about $80 over booking with Disney and I think we should have more time too.

Just looking at the DCL site, I have been assigned cabin 2023. 11C, which is what I booked as GTY. I am surprised to get a room assignment this early.

Well, today is the day DCL makes their announcement on the new 2012 itineraries (that were leaked a day or so ago). Cruises out of NY, Galveston and Seattle and the one I want....a 15 day cruise to Hawaii! Thankfully, I have a 'spare' dummy cruise booked onboard all ready to move over to that. Here's hoping the initial prices for a verandah aren't prohibitive, but I do have the 'any cabin is better than none' philosophy to fall back on!

Excited about the WEEKEND Getaway Cruises...it will be a nice treat to get our DCL fix until our hopefully Fantasy Trip in 2013. Plus it gets us one cruise closer to Gold...haha

Done. There were a few other solo cruisers, but I keep finding roommates for them! There is a large collection of single ladies (and I use the term loosely) so there will be lots of playmates.

Had to, sadly, take Mandy off the list (UK Angel), as they transferred this to the Hawaii cruise. So I'll have to be patient to finally get to cruise with her...but it will be a longer cruise.

I've got Hawaii booked! So does sister Peg! And so do a lot of folks I've cruised with before! So looking forward to those glorious sea days!

Hi Jackie - We are for sure doing a B2B with the cruise before this one (11/3) if you want to update page 1.

Congrats on Hawaii, you deserve it after missing the Panama cruise. We have a hold on the 9/30 and 10/7/12 Pacific Coastal cruise with the secret verandah and I'm trying to nail down another couple as to which date.
