Just saw a post that the TV's on the DREAM, have an 'on demand' feature, where you can select a movie and watch it when YOU want and can stop and come back to it later. I hated that endless loop of movies that always seemed to be on the same movie when you came back hours later.

All it takes to be a Champagne Girl, is the desire to become one! And it helps if you have something PINK to wear!

The official CG mascot, Sassy Bubbles, (aka Cheri, notsolittlemermaid) was at the CG gathering on the current Panama Canal crossing just a few days ago and thanked all the DISboard ladies for continuing the tradition. I know of at least five cruises that have had a CG gathering since the first one on the '08 WBPC and I wouldn't be surprised if there were more that I'm not even aware of. I so look forward to a gathering in DCL's champagne bar, PINK!

It has taken 4 years...but we are back!! DH booked today as my b-day present!! I am smiling ear to ear..pun intended!! Can't wait to get to know you all...and enjoy planning and the build up to Nov!!

Well my DSIL & DBIL book this cruise today ...we have been trying to get them to go with us since `07 ...well they seen the commercials for DCL Dream and after I told them we book they decided to take the plunge!!

I am so excited...I know her sons are gonna have a blast!!.....we also have some friends showing interest...so this could be a really nice/crazy/nut's change for us...we always just travel with just the four of us....never the a large group but ....So far we have......

Hi ALL~ This is my first time posting in the DIS. I can't tell you how hard and long it took me to finally find the 11-6-11 sailing of the Dream...

I've been searching hi and low ever since I got off of the Wonder's Panama Canal Cruise and finally found this thread, woo hoo!

I met some great people back in '09 on the Magic Eastern Caribbean who told me to 1) be on the the Panama Canal cruise for my 10th wedding anniversary and 2)about the DIS. But, I've had 9 surgeries in 3 years and lost track of time and was unable to sign up on the DIS much less find the thread for the Panama Canal cruise. So can I tell you how envious I was when I saw all the get togethers where you passed out the items that people ordered like the lanyards, certificates, etc. or the Champagne Girls! I was in line for the Capt. signing and saw those cool certificates and thought "I would have bought one of those if I was physically able to at the time". I met Disneyanna and her family in the cruise terminal and then saw them again when they were putting gifts in the Fish Extender across the hall from me. They told me all about the Gift Exchange and the Room Tour. All of that is awesome!!!

So let me just say that I am ordering my FE off of eBay right away and I want in on anything you all are setting up for our 4 night cruise. I don't have my room number yet as DVC says it is a "guaranteed" reservation but I will let you know asap.

I am so excited to be on the DIS and part of our 11-6-11 sailing!!!

FISH EXTENDER

If its ok with everyone, I would like to take the reins and start organizing the Fish Extender exchange.

If you are interested in joining the exchange please email me at dthogue5@verizon.net (please put FE Info in your subject line) the following information

Cabin Number
Names of the Adults in your party
Names, ages and sex of the children in your party.

I propose that we cut off the sign up for participation on October 1st (or about 30 days before our cruise) to allow everyone enough time to prepare their gifts.

I don't want to step on any toes, so if someone else has started collecting this info, just let me know.

I just made my first bi-weekly payment this weekend too - so exciting to see that balance going down. I am also purchasing $25.00 Disney gift cards each week when I buy my groceries - hope to have enough by cruise time to cover all our DCL expenses!!!
