11:00 am drop off at port

Does this apply to taxis as well? Or car rental shuttles? We have a car rental that will be returned morning of cruise. If DH drops us off and then returns rental car, will a taxi (or the car rental shuttle) be able to take him back to the terminal before 11:00? Thanks

Car rentals are fine its private pre booked transfers that now are affected by a new local law in Port Canaveral on early arrival time and not before 11am.

Parking lots will be open by 10.30am there are reports here of 10am, car rental shuttles will run back but its worth calling them and asking if their affected.

We had to drop off our rental car early (9:30am I think) because of the 24-hour mark from when we picked it up the day prior. So we were waiting around at the rental place for the shuttles to start. At one point the guy hustled us into his van a little early, indicating he'd heard (on his radio or something) that it was now open. I can't say whether that happens frequently or not.

Private vehicles (and rental cars) are usually allowed in around 10:00am. I can't speak for taxis. You could have your husband drop you off (passengers and luggage), you get in line to check-in, then he can join you after returning the rental. You won't have to wait outside for him to return.
