My husband and I will be celebrating our 10th anniversary in May, staying at Boardwalk villas with NO KIDS! :cool1: Woo-hoo! Anyway, we would like to eat at some great restaurants the three nights we are there. Can you give us some suggestions? We like to try new things, love steak and seafood, international foods, etc. Would like to have one special dinner on our actual anniversary night. We don't drink, so that's not a factor for us.
Thanks in advance! :flower:

Yachtsman without a doubt. We just had our wedding dinner there, the food is incredable, and the staff is fantastic. I can't say enough about how wonderful they are. Just make sure to tell them it's your anniversary.

DH & I celebrated our 10th anniversary last year, without the kids, and stayed ay BWV too!

We ate at the California Grill for our anniversary. It was great. The food was excellent, we had a window seat and watched Wishes while we ate, and they brought us a special dessert with "Happy Anniversary" written on the plate in chocolate.

I would also recommend Jiko at AKL. We try to go there once every trip.

We celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary last May at WDW - we ate at the California Grill for the first time & really LOVED it!! :teeth: We both had a delicious steak dinner & wonderful service.

We were there for the beautiful sunset over the lake, the Electrical Water Pagent & Wishes over the MK with a window seat. It was a very memorable night & we hope to return there for our 10th anniversary, too!! :)

I am not the first to recommend it, I would have to say California Grill. Definately plan to be there during the Fireworks. Two years ago my parents were there for their anniversary and we decieded to call CG and give them a credit card # to treat them to thier meal. The CG was super. They greayed my parents at the elevator to escort them up to the restaurant and wished them a happy anniversary. Then the servers doted on them as well. My parents could not figure out how everyone knew. They was thrilled when the server told them that there was no check! They had a spectacular time! We have reservations there for Valentines Day--I can't wait!

Feb 2006-Contemporary here we come
Me, Dh, Ds7, Ds4, and our princess 9 months
Our first family trip to Disney

We are celebrating our 10th anniversary in May as well from the 13-19. We will be across the lake at the BCV. We are eating our anniversary dinner at Jiko. It was a hard decision to make, but I finally decided that of all the places I probalby won't take my two young DSs, this is the one I most want to eat at.

When are you guys going? Maybe we will see you there.

Well, if you're not on the dining plan, there is no better choice in all of Walt Disney World than Victoria and Albert's. It's not cheap, but if only the best will do for your anniversary dinner, look no further than this restaurant.

Otherwise, I'd have to say California Grill or Jiko.

We are going from the 3rd to the 6th...we really wanted to stay at BCV but it was full. But no complaints.. I"m sure BWV will be great! This will be our first DVC vacation!

Thanks so much for all your help! CG sounds wonderful!! I will have to make reservations now! Thanks! :goodvibes

DITTO!! Not only did we see Wishes but the Electric Water Parade. Let them know when making all ADR's that it is your annv. you may get special treatment, for example the special dessert at CG. :teeth:

I agree with N.Bailey. For the ultimate in romance, fine dining, wonderful wine and service second to none, only V&A will do! We don't care about fireworks in the sky -- we want them on the plate and in the wine glass!!

We love the BWV and stay there are every trip 9going again in August). We love the California Grille. We also love the Flying Fish on the boardwalk. I love seafood and DH has had steak there too. It is wonderful. Haven't tried V & A but it is supposed to be wonderful. Look into Narcoosee's too. Have a wonderful anniversary.

Our favorites are:
1. California Grille
2. Flying Fish
3. Joko
4. Citrico's

(we haven't tried Victoria & Albert's)

Outside the bubble:
1. Hue
2.Season's 52
3.Moonfish

We have dined there on our last 2 anniversaries, our 9th & 10th. Both times we had amazing meals. The first time we were given a free dessert sampler and last time we got that again, plus they gave me a long stem red rose. It was really special!

All the food (from the rolls & garlic right through dessert) were perfect and the service has been great too. My Mom and I went back last month and again, we had another excellent meal.

I would like to recomend Bistro De Paris very small very romantic place to dine opt for a 8 pm res and watch illuminations from you table you can't go wrong there :rose:

We did this exact trip last year (10th anniversary, no kids)! Although we are cheaper than everyone else and did not stay at the BWV. POR was lovely though... Anyway, our favorites were Le Cellier in Epcot/Canada. And our actually anniversary was spent at Shula's Steakhouse in the Dolphin. It's not on the dining plan and not cheap but it's a top 10 steakhouse and DH is on a quest... Not the most romantic place, but it was good steak!

I have to say that I am with N.Bailey on this one. Victoria and Alberts is by far my favorite meal in Disney. Going in 9 days and can not wait.

But then again, taste is subjective, and you can't go wrong with California Grill during wishes. Enjoy your trip!!!! and Happy Anniversary

We went down in July and dined at Palios at Swan.We were serenaded by strolling minstrel and we were given a lovely dessert to share. The food was good.Fine Italian.

Do you think V and A's is worth it if you don't drink?

I am so grateful for all of your help. You have given me so many great suggestions, restaurants I would have never thought of or really knew about.

I absolutely LOVED the California Grill. I would definately recommend it.

When people ask, I always recommend the same restaurant for a delicious meal and great service. It is Citrico's at the Grand Floridian Resort, food is truly special, service incredible, great drinks (if you are so inclined), what else can I say. I have eaten almost everywhere on property and this is our absolute favorite.
