If you ran the 10K last weekend at WDW, or this weekend at Tink, what corral were you in and when did you finish? I am running the GSC for PHM weekend and will probably have an A or B corral start, but have an 8:05 ADR on Saturday morning for breakfast with my family, and will probably be relying on Disney transportation to get there. Could you have made it? Going from Epcot to CR.

Seems pretty tight to me. If you got off at 5:35-5:40ish (assuming B Corral) and you run straight through in about an hour (6:35ish), collect your medal/water/etc., get to the bus pickup (6:45ish), assuming it's there waiting and leaves as soon as you get on you're back in your hotel room about 7-7:10 to shower and change and then catch another Disney bus to your ADR location....

More likely it will take a little longer for the bus to leave, and take a little longer for you to arrive at your hotel (closer to 7:30-7:45 maybe).

For the price of the 10K, I would prioritize enjoying the experience over rushing through to eat breakfast.

Thanks, but I'm not planning to go back to my hotel. My family will take a change of clothes for me to the CR and I will freshen up/change when I get there.

I agree it's tight, but it's more about making sure my kids get to do what is important to them on this trip too. It's not just my experience - it's all of our vacation.

I think I will just get there when I get there, and meet up with them mid-meal if they have already started eating. I will definitely enjoy the race!

The 10k for the WDW started at 6:15. I was in Corral A and stopped for a picture of Dopey that took about 5 minutes of waiting. I finished the race in 32 minutes (including the picture) and could have gotten on a bus then, but I opted for a picture with Mickey afterwards. I probably could have been back at the Beach Club between 7:15 and 7:30. Depending on where your ADR is, you probably would have time to get to the ADR even if you take some time to enjoy the run.

I had a 8:30 PS at Cape May and started in C. The waves had a huge delay between the waves (10 minutes) and I stopped to talk with a friend spectating near Jelly Rolls. All this to say that I ended up finishing about 20 minutes later than planned.

I was able to make it back to the GF Villas for a quicky shower and then back to Beach for the meal.... I think we had 10 minutes to spare. For the record, I did drive it rather than take the bus and was planning on wet-wiping for a clean up if I were much later.

I'm going to assume you're talking about the 5K here, and not the 10K, as the 10K started at 5:30 and the 5K started at 6:15.

Also, not that I doubt that you run a 27 minute 10K, but since the world record is 26:44..... ;)

For the WDW Marathon weekend 10k...I arrived very early via the bus from the Dolphin resort and walked around for what seemed like a long time before I went into my C coral assignment.
There was a lot of waiting of course and the weather was quite muggy.

Overall I really liked the race and enjoyed it. Because of it's distance, I wore a Tink outfit but my wings flew off after only one mile.

It was over before I knew it, got my medal and went back to the hotel.

I thought it was a nice race.

I was in Corral B. I stopped at every character (the lines were long for some of them). I was on the bus back to my resort at 7:40. You can make it as long as you don't take pictures after the race. Those character lines were REALLY long.

Duhhh! What an idiot I am. :confused3 I was talking about the 5k. For the 10k, you would have even more time as it started 45 minutes earlier and if you run it in an hour, then all the same things apply that I mentioned above. Sorry about the confusion everyone.

In my defense, I am still sleep deprived from waking up at 2:30am for 4 mornings in a row.

BTW, I did run a 10k in 27 minutes...then I woke up from that wonderful dream:lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

:lmao:

I am going to be recovering from those 4 mornings for a LONG time. :rotfl:

My dreams can't even run a 27 minute 10K. ;) In my dreams, I just wake up at 7:00 and panic because I was supposed to be in the corrals by 5:00. Not that I woke up like that a few..... dozen.... times before the Dopey. :lmao:

I was in corral B, ran the 10K in about 1 hour. Took the monorail from Epcot to Poly and was home by 7:30. I was not rushing but did not stop for any pics. You can do it.
