Ds (Kinder) needs a shirt to wear for the 100th day of school. Being the Mickey Mouse fan that he is, he'd like a shirt with 100 Mickeys on it. Unfortunately, I tend to be on the not so creative side. Any ideas on the easiest way to make a shirt like this?

Thanks!

Two options:

--Sponge! Two ways to go about it.
1. You should be able to find small round "stipple" sponge brushes at Joann's or Michaels (or wherever). Get two different sizes and acrylic paints of your choice. Use the bigger brush for Mickey's head and the smaller one to make his ears.

2. Make a template on paper of Mickey's head about 2 inches in diameter at the largest and trace onto a sponge. Cut out shape. Pour acrylic paint (one color or one color at a time if you want to use multiple colors) onto a paper plate. Dip sponge into paint and then place on t-shirt. Usually you can get three or four paint placements before reloading the sponge with more paint.

--Markers! In the craft department at Walmart or any craft store, they carry fabric markers. Use them to draw the Mickey head silhouette.

~~~~In any of these three choices, make sure you use cardboard between the front and back of the shirt, the paint and markers can/do bleed through.
Take a pic. Can't wait to see it! This sounds like a much cuter idea than what my DS's class did last year--they just had to take 100 of something.
