My DH can tell you first hand - celebrating a birthday at Disney is VERY special and magical. We've been during his birthday a couple of times. I wish we could go during mine, but it just never works out. His birthday is 8/15 and our anniversary is 8/12. So, a couple of times we've celebrated both events at Disney. We might do it again this year. My birthday is 4/2 and it just never works out that we can go due to work conflicts. I'd love to experience my birthday there some day.

Here's my question: Deluxe resorts are worth the extra $$$$.

I agree! Throw on a poncho and go for it. We have been the only ones walking down the middle of the street in Frontierland in the middle of the pouring rain and considered it one of the best memories of the trip. Just pretend you are a duck and waddle right through!

The evening carriage rides at FW are romantic and well worth money.

I have no opinion, but they do sound nice!

I think Dole Whips are overrated. It's just pineapple softserve ice cream, IMHO.

My favorite park is Magic Kingdom.
