100 points new contracts???

could somebody please tell me if they are still selling 100 points new contracts at DVC? We were going expreely for that purpose, but I got some info that they might not do the 100 points anymore...

I am pretty sure you can get a 100 point new contract directly from DVC, but only at AKV. Someone will correct me if I am wrong.

If you have definitely decided to purchase and are worried about the 100 pt contract offer expiring soon, maybe you can lock it in by calling your guide and telling them you want the contract but would prefer to sign the paperwork in person when you arrive in August.

Also, just noticed you are from Canada...it might be a good idea to have your guide confirm you'd be eligible for any of the incentives currently being offered ahead of time so you know exactly what you'd be receiving before you sign the contract.

If you're from Quebec I don't think they are allowed to talk to you due to registration issues.
I think the 100 point contracts will be available though end of August, GET DOWN FAST LOL .

Do you still get the $8 off per point? I wonder if the Disney Visa $500 reward is applicable to this? We have 8,000 saved up for DVC and FH LOVES AKV.

Went on the tour a couple of days ago. We were offered $8 off per point and a $500 Visa Card (not disney specific) for being referred. If you've got $8000 put aside, you are pretty close.

I think we're going to take the plunge in the next day or two.

We are on the edge of purchasing also, considering resales and directly with DVC. I did speak to the guide we originally dealt with. He called me back and told me that we could buy 100pts at any DVC resort. However, it was for the full price of $104 per point, no discounts or incentives....
