100 Points Going Farther Than Expected

I am so excited to hear about your DVC success. It looks like you're getting exactly what you hoped for out (maybe more) from DVC.

They really can stretch out. I have 2 contracts with a total of 280 points. It doesn't sound like a lot of points, but I usually stay in a studio during adventure season. So I can often manage to travel when I can get rooms for 14 points a night or so. With weekends, even if we aim high at say 18/night on average, that's still 15 nights - about 2 weeks.

I work for a living. I get 2 weeks vacation + 7 days sick.

It's actually more DVC than I can use at 280 points if I ever want to see my sister, brother, mother, or other family who are not Disney fans like I am. If I want to take a cruise (which I also enjoy), I have a surplus of points.

There is a part of me that wants more points. But there is another practical part of me that recognizes I can't really use the ones I have now unless I move to 1 bedrooms, and I just don't need that much space.
