$100 per person for ONE DAY?

Not sure if this is a great deal compared to some of these other options but just fyi...
I purchased 3 day park to park Universal tickets at Costco for $155 each.

Seemed like I got a good deal when I compared it to the Universal ticket website.


We are headed there for our first time as a family in February! Staying at RPR and very excited!

Seems like a pretty good deal to me. Our family loves RPR and the early entry and unlimited express that comes with it is pretty nice too. Have a great time!

As others have said one day one park tickets to anywhere are expensive. My family of 4 spent around $700 for a day at Seaworld...between tickets, parking, lunch, dinner, beverages, all the stuff that costs extra, but that you have to do (feeding dolphins, etc). Would I ever do it again? Probably not. Do I regret it? Not a bit!

The 14-day ticket for $175 is a park hopper for the 3 parks AND free admission to all the City Walk nightclubs. People often overlook that. Not paying cover charges allows unlimited club hopping too.

$100 a day isn't just typical for FL parks, it's the going rate of pretty much any good theme park anywhere. Emphasis on GOOD THEMING. Six flags parks are less expensive, but they focus almost entirely on the rides. For all the extra things they offer in the parks - shows, clubs, incredible worlds, restaurants, etc. - UO/IoA are bargains.

In 2006, I had a friend meeting us in WDW before a cruise, and we had decided to go to the parks the next day and figured we needed a park hopper pass for her. She asked me to pick one up for her and she would pay me back. I didn't have the heart to tell her that the 1 day park hopper was 119.xx$

We stayed at the Boardwalk DVC in September for a week and really enjoyed it! Loved the proximity to the two parks....just like at Universal.

we own @ BW but i like BC better for SAB. Until people actually stay onsite @ Universal I don't think they understand how great FOTL perc is.

The parks are smart to price the tix to entice longer stays, but after X amounts of visits, I consider it a luxury to shake things up with split trips.

imo since U tix were substantially less than WDW for so many years, it's a shock to many to revisit and find out prices are near par now despite having HP in the house.

I stockpiled as many U tix as I could afford when they were in $70 range for my own usage and DH has kept his PAP current for the discounts at the hotels.

Even though we had WDW tix in hand, I bought 10 day non expiry tix two years ago before that feature jumped far above the 10% or so tix price increase that was the norm. We've been using them for the random day or two needed when we have other plans (cruising, etc.). I've quit buying PH feature to cut corners. I do have an annual pass voucher that I bought with DVC discount & before the last price increase, that i've yet to activate since we've been doing split trips. I had figured next year, then i find something else I want to try on vacation besides spending all my time at WDW.

I do look at the stockpiled tix as an investment, certainly a far better return than i'd have gotten if the $ were sitting in the bank.
