$100 Disney Rewards Card

Have any non-DVC members done this and actually gotten the card?

I did it a few years ago and got cards for my self, my husband and my son (over 18). That was $300 towards our vacation! I've cancelled those cards so I'm going to try it again now. I used the online application and it never asked me if we were DVC.

I've been looking for this kind of offer all spring!! It's probably too late for us as we leave for WDW in 26 days. Still, I will apply for a card for my DH and hope hope hope we get the gift card in time... but probably they need to wait for the billing cycle to complete. Darn...

If any non-DVC member does this & gets the giftcard, please report back! My partner has a card on my Disney Visa account right now but if this will work I'll have her apply for her own card to get the gift card!

I, too, have been looking for this for a while now. Thanks, OP, for putting this out.
I just applied for a card for myself and one for hubby, hey, $100 each for our next trip, sounds good to me.

I got this a few months ago and my daughter did as well in May/June. We do not own DVC and I don't think it asks you anywhere on the application.

I'm so glad this was helpful to others! I have learned so much on these boards and I am happy to give a little help back. I'm trying toget my kids to give the grandparents the big eyes and please please puffy lips to get them to sign up for the cards too- we'll see.

Seems strange that they would allow you to sign up someone in the same household and get the bonus... but hey, if it works! Thanks for sharing.

I filled it out, and it went back to the opening page. There was no information about what would happen. Is that what happened to anyone else? Do they let you know you got it via email?

After I filled it out, it gave me a confirmation saying that I would get a response in a couple of weeks and I also recieved an email stating they had recieved the application...

That's what I was thinking should have happened, I wonder if it didn't get submitted? It said to only submit once, but this makes me think it didn't go through. Did you get the email immediately?

Just redid it and the way one of the pull down menus worked was tricky and I think I closed it instead of submitting it on accident. I did it again and got the message that it was submitting, so we'll see if it works. I may have DH try it too.

if you apply for it thru the DVC member website, if approved, you get the card with "Disney Vacation Member" embossed on it under your name. Not a big deal, but it is a conversation starter. DH and I both have one (seperate accounts) and both got a $200 disney gift card after our first use, this was about 3 years ago.

Under Terms and Conditions, it states "first time cardholders only". However, I just signed up my Husband and he has had a Disney Visa in the past. I guess we'll see if he's approved! :)
