10 year old gift card

I have a gift card for The Rainforest Cafe, that I got with point through MyPoints, that's probably 10 years old and never been used. Has anyone ever tried using a gift card that old with success?

I don't think they expire, but you can always go to the Rainforest Cafe website and check the balance.

Thanks. I went and checked and it doesn't recognize the card number. Disappointing.

Try calling because they may have changed the gc number formats. There should be a number on the website. I called about an old McCormick and Schmidts card I had. They were able to confirm the balance by telephone and I was able to redeem the gift card at Yak and Yeti this past August.

Aw, I'm sorry it didn't recognize the number. I was going to say, I found a $50 Disney gift card from our honeymoon nine years ago that still has money on it recently, so yours may be fine!
