I have looked on the Illuminations Cruise thread and this question has been asked without first hand answers. Has anyone taken an illuminations cruise since 10/1/05- when the new prices went in effect- and been allowed more than 10 passengers on board? This is with young children (infants/ toddlers) being combined in the total.

I think the experts here on Transportaion Board will give you some solid information on your question. :goodvibes :wizard: :wave2:

From the www.allearsnet.com website.
"Another option for an IllumiNations cruise is a 24-foot pontoon boat, which seats 10 comfortably. The pontoon has a canopy, is roomier, and has some drink holders. When you rent either boat, it belongs to your party for the show; meaning the only people there will be the ones you've invited! The price for a pontoon IllumiNations Cruise starts at $234.74 + tax, for a maximum of 12 people (10 adults). Cost includes a driver, bagged snacks (pretzels, chips, popcorn), water and Coke products. Other food and beverage items are available through Yacht Club Private Dining at 407-934-3160. You may not bring your own food or beverages on board."

Sorry, I haven't been since the new prices went into effect, but I had been three times before. They've always told me 10 adults - 12 if some are kids. If no one else can come up with an answer, I would just call WDW and ask them directly.

Cheers!

Thanks for the responses. On the Illuminations thread on the attractions board everyone has been told when calling Disney that the limit is 10. I'll wait and ask at the marina when I arrive at Disney (a few days before my cruise) and ask them directly.

Disney has new pontoon boats. The number of people allowed on board a boat has nothing to do with the price--it is what rated capacity for the boat is. This is from the cast portal...
