10% off at Disneystore with Disney visa

The last few times I was at our local disneystore, they gave me 10 percent off my total order. It used to be you had to spend $50 to get the 10% off. When did this change? Or was it a special deal?

So I looked it up now that you mentioned it and it looks like they did roll out a change. There's a special section for Disney Shopping that says it's just 10% off select merchandise at the Disney Stores, both online and instore. The parks and World of Disney are excluded, but if you check the Parks sections the shopping is still listed the same with the $50 threshold. Seems to me that they added a perk recently. Maybe with the new 'shopDisney' roll out.

Kinda dangerous for me now, I used that as my excuse not to buy stuff since I didn't have $50 worth to get the discount... darn you Disney, thought of everything to get us to spend money

Ooooh I was actually going to make a post asking about this and totally forgot! I've gotten this deal at two different Disney Stores in the last week so I'm guessing it's a new thing!

Really adds to the worth of the Disney Visa IMO! I love it.

Agreed I would have thought they'd want to advertise it since it'll most likely get people to spend more often. I wonder if these changes have anything to do with why I recently got a new card with "updated benefits" (or some such). When I read the info that came with the card it all seemed the same except it's the "Signature Visa" and my design was discontinued (yet again). I thought maybe it was because of the Signature benefits but the shopDisney change and the visa rewards site change have all come within weeks of each other. So far nothing been taken away so no complaints here (well, aside from them discontinuing all my card designs ) Maybe they'll do an announcement as holiday promos start up.
