10-Oct-2009 - Eastern Magic St. Croix

I don't mind when DH does the laundry and I don't have to ;) He is an early riser and if I've got it sorted out, he'll take it and do it while no one is around. I have to do it the other 51 weeks of the year.

The Cardinals are going to the Super Bowl!
Here's hoping the Steelers make it too!

Steelers are Superbowl bound baby....whoo whoo.....
:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

GO CARDS!!!! Got to love that sign - Shock the World!:happytv: I had to laugh. Usually do not watch except for the bowl - I like the commercials. I had to watch today - AZ MAKING HISTORY! YEA!

yeah it will be a big history game...us going for our 6th superbowl win and the card's being in their first. I have no love lost for the other half of the state so I can honestly say we were all happy the Cards won....lol :)

I can't believe I am discussing football...but any way, glad the Cardinals won - seems to give the people of Phoenix something to be proud about.

Glad the Steelers won because I love Christa and her family and know how happy Jay must be. So, because of the win, he shouldn't mind that he has to drive to work in -20 and I'm sitting here in 78 sunshine.

And I've recently become addicted to Facebook! :surfweb:

Me too!!! I joined it about 2 weeks ago and have reconnected with a bunch of friends but it is sooooo addictive.

Who's going to sing with me on the cruise!!!???:yay: :rolleyes1 :cheer2:

Sing Ummm no - but I will gladly cheer you on. :cheer2:

Well school has started once again (for those of you who don't know I am working on my MBA while working FT. This semester is a bit overwhelming but exciting at the same time. I am finally into classes that match my specializations. But there are some pretty big deliverables so should be interesting. Guess I should get the coffee pot ready :coffee:

Facebook is extremely addictive but fun!!!

I'm also working on a degree, just my bachelor's though. I go to UOP, I'm guessing you go to a regular school? I also work FT and have 2 kids and a husband. ugh. Sometimes it takes a lot of talking to remind me why I'm doing this.

Don't get the addiction - and what are all those crazy applications my friends keep inviting me to try? What is Metropolis and why should I play? I refuse to finish anything that asks for my phone number.

Metropolis?

I feel the same way....love those pop-ups with IQ tests and quizes but I never get to see how smart I am ....:lmao: ...cause they want all my personal info!

I am taking online classes as well, but it is a brick and mortar school. I also work FT - its rough but I just keep telling myself, someday this will all be worth it - not that it always convinces me.....

Im still here!!!:thumbsup2 Been workin my butt off to pay for this cruise!!
Actually Chad left on the 8th for a job in Vegas, so i've been single Mom'n it for almost 3 weeks. I'll be glad when he gets home...which is in a few days!! :cheer2: But then I turn around and head to Vegas for another job for a week...whew!
Hope all is well with everyone else!!! I started gathering treasures for FE's this weekend.....woohooo!!!!
GO STEELERS!!!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

I'm still here too - my DD's competition dance has taken over my life. We're getting into the thick of it - fitting, altering and embellishing costumes, preparing for and traveling to performances on top of regular rehearsals and lessons in preparation for the big competition in May. There's a lot of effort and preparation that goes into this stuff, and not just for the kids.

Hey DenverVal! Are you going to Washington DC for fun or work? My son & I went last August. What a great experience! We did some fun stuff. Let me know if I can help with planning! I dont know everything, but Im happy to pass on what I liked! (Like the Ghost Tour or the Sushi Bar that has a conveyer belt...TOO COOL!):cool1:

I am going with my DD on her 8th grade school trip. Thanks for the offer, but I think they've got us going from sunup to way past sundown. My older DD enjoyed the ghost tour too, so I'm looking forward to it! Later in the evening, after they'd gone on the tour, their toilet was making "strange noises" and the girls decided it was haunted. :upsidedow  I've no idea if they actually slept!

I'm a little irked at the tour company, because it sounds like they're going to insist on me paying a singles supplement fee (around $250) because I'm the only female adult going. Not nice, when that's completely out of my control, and in the entire experience of our leader, they've never enforced this policy. For that price, I'm planning on having some serious peace and quiet. :thumbsup2

HI! Just want to say Hi! my DH Joe and I (Maureen) will be joining you on this cruise.
