After writing a trip report for our last THV visit in January/Feb, I decided to write one again for this trip. Our trip is from 12/18-12/28.
Okay, okay, I know we are a litlle ways away. Well, 56 days to be exact!
Cast of characters- me, DH, DS14, DD12, DM and DF. Well, this is our pretrip report....This Christmas trip is years in the planning. First we had to all on points to SSR so I could guarantee my THV booking at the 11 month mark. Then to call day after day to get all 10 nights.
We have a 3 hr direct flight scheduled (booked back in Arril when the dates came out!) At the time, they had 2 direct am flights 7am or 11 am. In trying to be able to not have to get up at 3am to get ready and off the the airport on time, we opted for the 11am flight.
Fast forward to the present. Yesterday, I am at DM & DF's house and they get the automated JetBlue call that there is a change to our itinerary. I start laughing as this is the 3rd call we've now received over the past 6 months changing the flight by 1-5 minutes here or there. We put the phone on speaker and the flight number...then time are changed!!! Your new flight now leaves at 6:35 pm and arrives in Orlando at 9:35 pm.

Do you know how quick we pressed that 0!?
We have dinner reservations at 'Ohanas at 6:35 and you are telling me that I'm not leaving until 6:35!?
So I speak to the nice lady and ask her if she knows how difficult it would be to get dining reservations at 'Ohanas less than two months out at Christmas! She said that she would see what she could do. I remembered there was the other direct flight at 7am. She had to first check to see if there were 6 seats available for that. Then after being on hold for 20 minutes it was done! Our seats and flight was changed for all 6 of us! We will be landing in MCO at 10:01 am, not 9:35 pm!!!
