$10 DVD Sale on Again!

I was at our Disney Store last evening and the CM came around and told us all dvd's (exclusing Monsters and Beauty) and vhs's were on sale for $10 each! You do not get to use your Disney Club discount on these however. Great deal.

I forgot to mention there was also a sign that if you buy three Disney dvd's you can get one free. You must have to send it for that though.

No DC discount? I wonder why? I managed to get in on the last sale and was able to use my DC discount. Don't forget about the coupons inside of the movies for other movies. I was so excited last time that I forgot. I could have saved another $6. I'm not too upset, though. I got 13 dvds for $123! That DC discount netted me a "free" dvd so to speak.

I just got back and bought 7 dvd's and a bunch of pins that were marked doen to $2. I was able to use my DC discount on allof it. THere wasn't any buiy 3 get 1 free but if you pre ordered Lilo and stitch you got a $10 gift card so you could split your order in 2 and get basically another DVD for free

I just got back. I got 3 dvds, preordered lilo & Stitch, bought 2 t-shirts, 4 washcloths (the souvenir section was buy 3 get 1 free). Use my DC discount and paid 70.00. Than I took the $10.00 giftcard and bought another DVD. Now I am going to mail in the rebate for the free dvd. You just pay $1.99 shipping. So for 72.00 I got 6 dvds, 2 t-shirts and 4 washcloths. Also I forgot it but if you are buying the Disney Villains dvd, Toy Story 1 or 2, a bugs life, or buzz lightyear dvd there was a $2.00 coupon in the monsters inc dvd that I forgot about.

I found the rebate forms at Toys R Us attached to their display of Beauty & the Beast DVD.

I just got back too and bought 7 DVD's. There was no sign posted about the sale. The CM came to each customer as they walked in and told them about the sale. I was able to use my DC discount as well.

Thanks for the tip! Our store had a small sign posted above the DVDs. We got Hunchback, Neverland, Dinosaur, House of Villains, Cinderella II, Atlantis, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Schoolhouse Rocks and pre-ordered Lilo & Stitch. Some of them are for a friend who couldn't make the trip to the store because of a sick child. The Disney Store manager was very nice about splitting up my purchase into 3 transactions so I could use the Lilo gift card and to separate my friend's DVDs from ours.

Thanks to this board, I got a heads up on the sale. We bought VHS instead of DVDs, even thought the DVDs were the better deal. I won't let my kids touch our DVD player.

We picked up Hercules, Rolie Polie Olie Great Defender of Fun, Alice in Wonderland and Buzz Lightyear. We have many of the other titles that were on sale already -- Though I do regret not picking up the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh for my youngest. Oh well. Next time there is a sale, perhaps I can get it then.

I had been to TDS on Sunday and Tuesday. I bought pins and lanyards at 50% off and a movie at full price. So, I headed back to TDS today and asked if I could get an adjustment for the new prices. She said I could for the pins and lanyards but not the movie. I didn't ask why I couldn't for the movie. I went ahead and bought another copy for $10.00 and will return the one I bought at $19.99. So, thanks to the credit I got on the pins and lanyards and the Disney Club card I ended up paying $8.91 for the 3 movies I bought today!! I'll have to look into the rebates for buying 3, updating to DVD from VHS and whatever else I can find.

I really need to stay out of there but I have my eye on a backpack that's 75% off. I might just get that when I return the other DVD or maybe end up getting more DVDs.

Oh! As a follow-up, I forgot to mention that the CM let me use my Disney Club card AND the $10 gift card from my Lilo & Stitch pre-order, bringing my total under $30 for the four videos.

I wonder why some stores will accept the DC card and others won't?

I'm just back from TDS also and, wow, am I excited! First, I bought 3 DVD's, 10 pins for $2 each and pre-ordered Lilo and Stitch. Then I went back and used my $10 certificate towards 2 more DVD's and 5 more pins. And we don't even have a DVD player! I guess we'll have to get one now. I'm tempted to go back tonite and get more. They make great gifts. I also used my 10% DC discount with no problem . It was certainly a Disney Day!

I bought DVDs today as well and the Disney Store I was at let me use my DC discount as well. No problems, no questions. I did have to split my order though, because I was doing the Lilo and Stitch pre-order and also wanted to use my Bueaty and the Beast $10 card. It seems you can't use the $10.00 gift card in a purchase where you are getting a $10.00 gift card back. Makes sense I guess.. Anyway, I got 5 DVDs plus Lilo and Stitch and spent 58.00.. They didn't have the Schoolhouse Rock or House of Villians DVD at the store though

I headed over to New Hampshire (no tax and the closest Disney Store) and got Snow Dogs, School House Rock (2 disc set), Aristocats, Return to Neverland and Hunchback of Notre Dame. I split up the sale and pre-ordered Lilo and Stich. They also adjusted my purchase of pins from Sunday. That way I got 6 DVD's for $58 and I got the lithographs for L&S. PLUS I get the free DVD with the coupon inside Beauty and The Beast- so that makes it 7 DVD's. Thank you for posting guys! Too bad they were sold out of Mary Poppins and Nightmare Before Christmas DVD's!

Yeah! My Disney Store was having the $10 DVD sale, too! Although by the time I got there everything was really picked over... so I just ended up with SchoolHouse Rocks. But for $10, I'm not complaining!
PS And, yes, you could use your DC discount as well.

I went to my disney store today and it was a freakin madhouse!! Besides the dvd`s and vhs movies being on sale for $10,they had huge boxes full of stuff like adult slippers $1.49,christmas ornaments $.99, the seven dwarfs christmas plushes,tons of boxes of baby clothes for $1.99 an oufit,onesie turtlenecks etc.

It was unbelievable! The lady said corporate called and said clear it ALL out! So that`s what they were doing! I had to stand in line a good 15 or 20 minutes! But i got the princess socks for my princesses $.99 ,a set of pajamas for $1.99 and my 2 dvd`s for $10 each. $24 total!!

Our store was pretty much wiped out by the time i got there. Got 2 dvd's, 2 tee shirts (2 for 15) and a pin--said 50% off but it rang up $2 instead of $2.50
Oh and the lady said I couldnt use my dc card for the video's--just for the other stuff.
