I read on mouseplanet.com that if you renew your annual pass before the expiration date...you get a 10% discount. Is that true? If it is...it is 10% off for each pass that you renew?

ooo cool! Ill have to tell my mom! we have deluxes...

It's $20, not 10%. If it were 10%, then Premiums would get $35 off instead of just $20. BTW, this only applies to Deluxe and Premium APs, not So Cal and So Cal Select.

You can actually renew after your expiration date and still get the $20 off. However no matter when you renew it will always be good for a 365 days from your original expiration date. So if your pass expires September 1, 2006 and you renew (either before then or within a few days after) it will expire on September 1, 2007. Now if you renew in 2007, then it will expire August 31, 2008, since 2008 is a leap year. So every 4 years your expiration date would change by 1 day.

Actually, that's not true--my expiration date has stayed April 8 ever since I got an AP in 2001 (and April 8, 2003-April 8, 2004 was a leap year). You simply get a bonus day if it's a leap year.

Apparently that only works when you renew then, because I have never gotten a bonus day and I've had an AP for 19 years.
