10 Days to VWL

Well we are at the 10 day countdown - We are soo excited about our trip. We are sending a lg box of dried goods/non-perishables down ahead on Monday - and we are going to use Albertsons and fax our grocery list to them on Friday and just pick them up on our way to VWL on Sunday We just want to make it as easy as possible and start enjoying our vacation as soon as we arrive! This is our Son's 1st trip. We were blessed to be able to adopt him a few months ago! He is getting very excited and our Dgt is soo happy about this trip because she can't wait to show him all the sites We have so much planned - Illumintions cruise, MVMCP, Chef Mickeys, 1900 Park Faire, OFSOL, Fantasmic and soo much more! I wish we were leaving today!

My countdown to the VWL is over 10months - actually just got to book it 2days ago -lol! Stayed at the WL 9nights Oct 01 - thats what made us buy into DVC.
We leave for our MAGICal cruise in 1 week!!

Howdy !

We'll also be checking in to VWL in 9 Days! It is a great time to be there, we were there same time last year....

We also have an adopted daughter who will be with us -- although this will be her second trip. She is now 21 months old and will undoubtedly have more fun and be more of a handful.

Do to her Toddler status - we are going to have a relatively low key trip this time. We plan to go to parks only about 3 days of our 6 and spend time at the resort, Fort Wilderness, etc.

We love eating at the great restaurants -- particularly Victoria and Alberts, but we do not have any Aunts or Uncles with us this year to Babysit. So we will forego the fancy restaurants this time. Planning to try Boma and Cape May Cafe. We'll eat early and figure that the buffet style will get us in&out quickly. Key component for the Toddler-Factor. We'll go into parks first thing, come back for nap and then go back and catch parades.

Looking forward to it !!! Maybe we'll see you there!

We'll be there soon, too. We are very excited about our first trip home. The weather's getting cold here in Ohio and the sunshine will feel nice.

Wow, lots of anticipation and excitement here! We aren't heading back to VWL until next June...so it's great to live vicariously through others' excitement and reports!!
