It seems everyone is now on the £199 bandwagon for the 10-Day World Ticket this summer. Disney Stores are now selling them at £199 and £159 (if purchased between March 1 and May 31 for use from May 31-October 31), and Keith Prowse have underlined that price, too, meaning a family of four would save £152 on the previous prices. This repeats their 'lowest ever' rate in 1999.

FYI, this price is only £18 more than the cost of a 5-Day ticket.

That sounds great. Where can I find these offers though - I looked on the disney store and disney websites and they're still showing £240 for the 10 day ticket.

Thanks

Another place doing the deal for slightly less again.

Arthurstance, the 'sale' starts March 1st which may explain why you're seeing the higher prices still...

Just been on the Theme Park site and the ticket is on sale now.

£189 no credit card fee, no "you have to book your trip with us" nonsense either.

Apparently it's only for sale until the end of May (but can be used until the End of October)

We are looking to purchase 4 x 10 day tickets and was wondering is it worth the risk to buy from somewhere unknown for £189 each & receive vouchers or is it safer paying £199 each and getting actual tickets from Keith Prowse or Disney store?

For instance what happens if the company goe's bust before we go in October, would the vouchers still be valid?

henrydog - there are some threads going on the other (US) trip planning boards also, including people who have bought, or are thinking of buying, from Paramount or themeparkland the same 10 day ticket. I believe these are the same vouchers that Disney sell, just at various discounts. On that basis once you have the voucher you have the ticket in effect, or you would have thought. Maybe you should call them and ask?

There must be someone better qualified than I to answer your questions...I agree it's a lot of money to expend if you're unsure.

I can recommend www.ticketmania.com for other tickets as we used them with no probs. They don't do the 10 day ticket though.

As with most things like this, it is always best to ensure you have booked with an ABTA-bonded agent, as that way you are fully covered by the ABTA guarantee if the company goes bust for any reason.

Themeparkland is a new 'branch' of CTI Leisure, I got the initial email because I get updates from their website known as The Flight Shop.

Good advice on SimonV's part...

CTI Leisure are bonded/members of ABTA, ATOL and the IATA if that helps anyone with a decision :)

We have just been offered 10 day world passes including 1 character breakfast from attraction tickets direct for

£195 adult
£155 child

we dealt with them Oct 2002 for our Sea World/Universal passes and found them reliable and they posted actual tickets not vouchers.

Just bought 10 day world pass from

Virgin.co.uk/travelstore for

£189 (online price !!)

Looks like everyone is jumping on the sub £200 bracket .:Pinkbounc

I think i'm going to order through themeparkland. Just been on their website, £189 looks to be the cheapest around & you don't have to order online, you can order by phone & send a cheque, which i was a bit concerned about.
And you get actual tickets not a voucher.

TraceyL - it says tickets to be first used until end of October so could be used up until 20th Nov.
