I am going to Disney in October. We are staying 6d/5n, but when I purchased, I upgraded my tickets to 10 day non-expiration. I figured the next time I go, my girls will be older and we will go to Universal for a few days, and Disney for 4, so I will have my tickets paid for already.

Anyway, when I leave Disney, do I keep the credit card thing, or will I be given something else? Has anyone else done anything like this?

I am considering doing this, too. We have 7 day hoppers right now. I might add 3 more with no exp. I wish DW and DL tickets were the same since we are going to DL next spring.

You'll just keep whatever tickets you are using, be it a "credit card" /Resort key type, or the "paper" (Tyvek) tickets.

Be SURE to copy down any and all NUMBERS on each ticket AS SOON AS YOU GET the tickets, as that will be proof that you owned them, if they become lost.
They can be replaced using the info still in the Disney computer system based on those numbers.

Also, write EACH PERSON's name on his/her own ticket so that (s)he will get the "right" ticket when entering a park (the finger bioscan will match with the ticket.)

And, yes, MANY people do this... othewise there would be no need to buy tix that were "non-expiring" if they were only used within one trip.

This worked great for us :thumbsup2 We bought 7 day non-exp. last year and used 4(we only planned on 3, but decided to do 4th day). Now we have 3 days left for our this year! And for the price, it's almost free days.

I'm planning on 10 day hoppers with water parks if I have enough cash when I go in January; 6 days for my trip then and then a basically free trip in the summer using DVC points for the room. All we'll have to do is eat. The increase is so nominal after 6-7 days that the longer ticket with no expiry is a smart plan.

We are doing this in Nov also--will use about 5 of the 10 days. The discount for purchasing 10 even tho we wont go back for a few years is worth it. We also have our tickets left from 02 with one day hopper on them that Im planning on using as well. The only hitch there is they are not "scan" tickets so not sure how to use them. Will figure it out when we get down there I guess....
