We are thinking about buying a 10 day ticket with No Exp. to use on 3 or 4 future trips.....Has anyone else done this? I am wondering if I am missing any pittfalls?

I bought one for our trip this past May/June and used four days. Next year my sister is getting married down in WDW and we will spend our vacation down there as well. It's nice already having the tickets bought and paid for, one less expense to worry about, and will still have days left over for another trip :)

When we went in April, we had a 5-day hopper no expiry that we bought before the new MYW tickets were brought out. At guest services in DTD, we upgraded those to 10 day MYW hoppers with no expiration. It cost $100.11 to add those 5 days. We used 5 days that trip and have 5 days left to use for our upcoming trip in Nov./Dec. :goodvibes

I purchased this ticket for my trip. we just got back. i used 5 days so far. we are returning next dec after the cruise and will prop use 3 so I'll have a couple for a future trip. If you know you're returning and don't mind paying now. its a good deal/

Only pitfall I can think of is losing the ticket. Depends on how many days you're planning on using this trip. It it's 8 days, for example, you're paying $100 for no expiration on two days, or $50 a day. If it's 4 days, you're paying the same $100 for no expiration on six days, or $17 a day.

Since the added cost of the base ticket goes up very little each day once you get to 6 and 7 day tickets, you're basically only paying the no expiration premium plus a little more to get future use tickets. It's a really good deal.

The 10 day non-expiring pass is an excellent choice for the use you described.

For other usage patterns, 9, 10, and some 8 day vacations are better done with expiring passes. The remains of old pass(es) should not be used unless (until) it is (they are) sufficient to cover an entire vacation without the purchase of new passes.

If you buy the water park fun & more option you can do those activities on up to five additional days if you choose.

We got 3 trips this year out of ours- and just bought new ones for the next 3!
