10 day ticket breakfast , help HELP

We got our tickets today HORRAH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

we did get a voucher instead of our 10 day disney tickets but this wasn't a surprise thanks to previous posts.

what was a surprise was that we also got a voucher for our free breakfast. Which said it had to be taken to Guest Services inside Animal Kingdaom Park.

We've already got our breakfast booked for our 1st mornig at 1900 prk Fayre.

so how do we get our voucher exchanged & still get to breakfast for 8.50???

I've phoned Travel city Direct twice already, & was holding on the phone ages. The 2nd phone call was more reassuring than the 1st & said that we should be able to exchange the voucher at any Guest Services just like the voucher for the tickets

Any one done this?????????

I'm so worried that it will be a problem when we get there

We got 2 breakfast vouchers last year with the fun in the sun pass and all we did was book the breakfast at any guest relations office,turn up for your breakfast then when they ask for payment when you've finished just hand in the voucher.Never had any problems at all and can't really see it being any different with the 10 day passes.

I had a similar concern when we arrived 4 weeks ago, and whilst I could exhange our park vouchers anywhere (not specifically AK as it said on the voucher), the Guest Relations people at MK City Hall wouldn't issue us the breakfast vouchers. They said we had to go to AK, like it said on the voucher. I can't see why it's one rule for the park voucher and another for the breakfast one, but it may have been ignorance on the part of the City Hall person, as the ticket counter at MK gate was fine about the park passes and told us to mosey on into City Hall for the breakfast ones.

How strange, there seems to be be so many different variations of the Disney tickets on offer from different tour operators.

Last year we purchased the 10 day tickets - real tickets came, together with free Disney breakfast for all of us - which we could take wherever we chose.

We went for Boma's in the end because we were at AKL.

I know how frustrating it can be to get "vouchers" for the park tickets instead of the real thing - our first trip out with Virgin was like that and I'm afraid even for my 10% FVC discount, it's one of the main reasons why we always find the cheapest supplier of "real" tickets - just makes me feel better, stupidly

we bought the 10 day pass from virgin travelstore last year and we got real tickets which included real breakfast vouchers approx 7-10 days before we departed

we purchased out 10 day world passes from mercury travel and we were told we was goin to get a voucher but we told them they had to send us the actual tickets because we were short of time the first day, they were happy to do so

Current plan is to Exchange voucher for 10 day ticket at Downtown disney afternoon/ evening we get there & hope they'll sort out the breakfast problem then.

If not we are looking at moving our breakfast to another morning but we did want to do it the first morning.

Any other ideas?

Out of all these locations what would you say is best for Breakfast Buffet Dining?

I wouldn't be tempted by the Restaurantosaurus. We went there last month, a week after the Crystal Palace and IMHO I would have been well peeved if it hadn't been free. It reminded me of what Butlin's was probably like. The experience was probably spoiled by the pure excellence of the Crystal Palace in comparison, however. If I was doing it again, I'd make my free one Chef Mickey's or 1900 Park Fare, as there are always good reports about them.

We've "done" REstaurantsaurus ( spell? ) & loved it.

We're hoping to eat at 190-0 park Fayre on Friday morning but that does depend on our vouchers so fingers crossed!!!!!!

I have one of these tickets... however I've just been to the dining forum and apparently the 2 locations at MGM are no longer participating.

So no idea about the accuracy of the list on the back of the tickets, and therefore no idea what to do about booking.

I've asked advice from the board, and I hope some locals will be able to advise.

In the mean time - do you book over the phone from the UK or do you wait til you're there? We're going in October.
