I thought I had everything worked out but ...

my MK ADR interferes with castle lighting

Parade/show taping on 11/30 now

Decided not to do MVMCP and Candlelight P this year - now regretting it

Staying at BWV for first time

I'm hoping for a happy trip because we need one but now I just want to crawl under the covers

I have been there :grouphug: Just take a deep breath and remember you are going to Disney and a bad day at Disney is better than a good day at home/work ;) . Is it too late to buy MVMCP tickets? If they aren't sold out it isn't too late. I don't know about the rest of that but just repeat after me....I am going to Disney and I am going to have a great time. :)

I know how you feel. I am 13 days to go and I am flipping out. I guess we need to relax or at least try to relax. Have a great time.

We are 12 days out. I have already been through panic mode and if I attempted to do a list that I still worry about I will never stop typing. But ... I have now taken the very zen approach of having made the decision to forget it. I have planned the best I can so now it is time to chill and get ready to enjoy.

Going to check the crowd calendar one more time before bed .... :scared1:

Well I am less than a week out and my "plan" is not 100% perfect - but I would say it 95%. Don't think I will end up eating my way through DDP for it to have been worth it - have a conflict with a parade - need to stay in 3 different rooms for the week (don't ask). BUT....I finally came to grips that all in all IT IS pretty good! I have ADRs at all the places I want and will be seeing just about everything else.

The major thing that I realized this weekend as I was starting at my list for the 10th hour - too much knowledge can be exhausting! Seriously - if I didn't know when parades were going by and the times shows are happening - I wouldn't be trying so hard to fit everything in. I would simply just go with the flow!!!!

OOOH forgot to mention. BWV is my favorite place! Nice walk to Epcot and MGM and then to simply have the entire boardwalk at your doorstep is great!

What? I thought there was some stuff on 11/30, but most on 12/1. When did that change?

I hope once you are there, it is just magical!

I'm glad to see that Im not alone. I also leave next week and I want to get all of my pre-trip shopping done between tomorrow and Wednesday, before the black friday and holiday rush. I keep making a shopping list and then ripping it up cause it's all wrong. My family keeps telling me im paranoid and my list is fine. :lmao: Any who all of this pre-trip planning is starting to make me sick

Hi, My best advice? :goodvibes Take a nice long deep breath and remember why you are going to WDW. To have fun, soak in the atmosphere, experience some magic and to relax. What makes us obsessive planners is wanting everything to be perfect, but in order to enjoy what we planned we have to move from planner to player - or else all we will see while we are there is what is NOT working - what is not perfect. And even the best plans sometimes need editing once you get to the park because things happen. We all know here that you cannot do everything while there. WE have to make the best choices we can and then decide to live with - to get excited about the choices we made. Kinda like "love the one you're with"! So each trip is different and this trip you are going to do what you have planned.:cloud9: I am sure your plan is wonderful.

I think you will love BWV - I stayed at BWR one year because I couldn't get into BC and fell totally in love with the resort. I loved the small size and the pretty gardens and the nice lounge and the beautiful flowers and the lovely rooms. I liked being so close to the Board Walk. I liked being close to Epcot and taking a boat to MGM. It was wonderful.

Enjoy your ADR. I'll bet you are going to have a wonderful meal. You won't be fighting for a place to watch the parade - and you will see other parades anyway. Say to yourself - boy that taping was going to be a madhouse and I am soooo glad I will be doing something else... Enjoy this trip for its own uniqueness. Enjoy everything wonderful and magical about it. Another trip you will make other choices and do other things and that trip will also be unique. Above all have a great time this trip!!!:cheer2:

Also checking in at BWV the 29th :dance3: :dance3: :dance3:
:jumping1: :jumping1: :jumping1:
:rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow:

I'm a little excited :rotfl2:

Got the link, thanks!

I had some panic this weekend too (11 days!). Like another poster, I am not only attemtping to plan the trip but to have my holiday shopping completely finished before we leave. I am pretty close to being done. I'd like to enjoy decorating my house for the holidays next weekend, before we go.....so I better go pack for Disney NOW!

Parade taping.

See item on news board ... I thought it was going to be primarily 12/1 and 12/2 now DIS says 11/30 and 12/1

I feel like I keep juggling which parks on which days to avoid things.

I really want to see the castle lighting at 5:45 so will try to change my ADR at Plaza.

We only have 3 nights which is really making it hard to do MK, MGM and EP each on a night.
Current plan:
Wed 11/28 (day we arrive): MGM during day, check in, MK at night for Spectro and Wishes

Thu 11/29: AK during day, maybe DTD in pm, Yachtsman for dinner (our fav restaurant), EP for Illuminations, maybe Jellyrolls (never been). Now I'm thinking MK during day and leave AK for Fri

Fri 11/30: MK during day (take train to avoid Main St) and shop on the way out; MGM night Primetime for dinner, Osborne Lights and Fantasmic (2 shows makes timing more flexible) then maybe Jellyrolls at BW or DTD

Sat 12/1: Epcot then leave at 3:00

I don't plan ADRs for lunch which makes it more flexible to swap parks during the day. Since MVMCP is both Thu and Fri nights then Wed is the only night to do MK. We have done MVMCP in past years, some years great other times very crowded and not so fun ... we always love CP at Epcot but it does suck up a lot of time, so plan to skip it.

My mistake was to try and do this in 4 days, 3 nights - my usual minimum is 4 nights in case something goes wrong. Next trip!

We are 5 days away!:goodvibes

We have ressies for breakfast at the castle on Nov. 30th, so wish us luck;) getting thru the taping crowd!

I have started doing misc little things like charging the batteries for the digital camera, making sure I have all my memory cards and photo stuff together, getting the dogs stuff together for their stay at the kennel, trying to get youngest DS to get all his homework assignments for while we will be gone:rolleyes:

I am starting to get excited!!!:goodvibes

I can have my nervous breakdown on the plane!!!

TC:cool1:

After months and months of waiting, I can't believe we are down to only 11 days. 11 DAYS--OH MY, THE THINGS STILL TO DO!!! :confused3 Decorating the house for Christmas :santa: (Mon-Tues), son's basketball game  (Tues), complete Christmas shopping and do pre-trip shopping  (Wed), Thanksgiving at Mom & Dad's  (Thur), avoid Black Friday like the plague and watch LSU kick some Arkansas *** :cheer2: (Fri), start packing  (Sat--but what will the weather be like??? So pack it all, right! ), church (Sun), back to work and school :teacher: (Mon-Thur), leave FRIDAY :hourglass !!!

Any suggestions, tips, anything to soothe the weery soul? I know relax, enjoy, you'll soon be at Disney!
