10 day forcast and now i am worried...10/11

To early to tell. Just bring a poncho and you will still have a great time.

we were there last week and it said 30 to 40% chance of showers every day, it rained maybe one hour total during our times at the parks...

we are going to the mnsshp on oct.11 also and i just read that this morning. it said it was only a 30% chance and it still is a week away so i am not to worried about it...yet. :umbrella:

I've lived in Florida for several years and it is perfectly normal for it to rain at 3 or so every afternoon for an hour or so then it is perfectly fine after that.

I just arrived home today. The weather was sunny and hot. However, it did rain every afternoon for about 15 minutes or so, then the sun came out and you never knew it rained. (That is unless you got caught in the downpour - which I did once.) Just bring a poncho and keep your eyes on the sky. You could definitely tell when it's going to happen. Those dark clouds move in quickly, it gets windy, then it starts. It does, however, end quickly and its back to business.

I just bought disposable panchos today at my local Walmart for 76 cent each.
Hopefully won't need them but will have them just in case.
Either way, we are going to have fun on the 11th at MNSSHP!

I noticed the forecast but I refuse to let that stop me from having fun on the 11th

MOM I am shocked and appauled at your answer. Refert to Rule #2 on why.

We all know Disney has a becon over it that prevents it from raining in the parks and getting a little wet. After all we are not all made of sugar and wont melt :love1:  :rotfl2:

Central Florida has it's eye on a system. Yesterday it brought us some rain and winds, but for the most part, it was a sunny, hot day. At this point they are expecting it to cause rain and wind the next few days off and on. Then it is to go into the gulf, stall, strengthen and loop and come back. The spaghetti models put it all over the place, so we'll just have to wait and see.

Goofyfreek, sorry I forgot the rules. :) The tropical wave off the coast has turned into Tropical Storm Tammy.

Gee maybe they could build bubbles over the park to keep the rain out. :)

I am sorry that was part of Project Gemini and they are no longer going with it. :cool1:

Wear synthetics instead of cotton to help dry faster once the rain passes

Make sure you dry your feet out if they get wet - stops/prevents all sorts of nasties

Have a great time!
