Yes, plan some downtime, don't force a tough long day on them.
Use Rider Switch wherever possible. Your oldest will love it as he will get to ride a lot of things twice. Have an idea what to do with the kids while waiting as the others go through the line (go to character greeting, etc.)
Have plenty of water, and know where the bathrooms are
As DVC members, you know you'll be coming back again (if you haven't already booked your next trip) - you don't have to do EVERYTHING. This is our 7th trip, and we still haven't done absolutely everything.
We've actually started doing the single digit happy dance today...
* Enjoy the pool. We love the pool at OKW.
* Take the boat to DTD.
* If you have a stroller and enjoy a walk, take the path behind South Pointe over to SSR. It's a beautiful walk. You can check out the THVs on the way!
Most of all...have a blessed trip!!! I still remember our first visit as DVC members like it was yesterday. We had a wonderful time with our kids, and each trip just gets better and better!!!
thanks for all of the tips. We are planning on doing the parks in the morning, go back for naps/pool time, then doing dinner and more park time after dinner. Unfortunately the only character dining I could get was liberty tree tavern, but in Jan 09 when we return, we have breakfast at chef mickey & Ohana with lilo/stitch, plus dinner at the crystal palace. So we are ready.
