10% booking desposit online

I am sure I am late on the band wagon here and I missed some thread announcement, but I just booked two cruises online, and I only had to pay 10% deposit fee. Is this a holiday sale or did they recently change their policy?

Don't feel bad... you would think they would have made it a banner at the top of the page, but no... you had to scroll down a ways.

Not really much of a promotion anyway since you still have to pay that ten percent later on.

I imagine the summer 2021 cruise itineraries will be released soon after this promotion is over.

They do this every year. People are financially tapped out after Christmas so it gives people a little break. It's also known as "wave season" in the cruise industry. You will see a lot deals Dec-Feb enticing people to book for the year. Reduced deposits are a big seller with all cruise lines. If you're booking a cruise a year or so in advance who wants to fork over a bunch of money.
