For any bides that have had a 10 am ceremony at wp what was your timeline of events? we plan on using randy chapman . we are having a wishes VR with a small number of guests. looking at different transportation options etc? reception after at CG then break and dp in evening.... suggestions would be helpful. I tried a search without much luck.:goodvibes Thank you.

We woke up at 4 am for hair and makeup.

9:00a.m. our Rolls Royce picked us up to take us to the GF for photos on the staircase from 9:20 - 9:50. Then we were taken to the WP and into the vestibule for hiding and the ceremony started right after that.

10-11 approx ceremony

11-12 cocktail hour

12-3 reception

8-10 approx Dessert Party

If you have any specific questions just let me know.

Cool, good to see an AM timeline! I'm undecided betweem that and the 2.30pm

May I ask - what did people do between 3 and 8?

I know that i'd be ready for a nap!! but how about your guests? and what did you do about a photographer?

We had a 9:00am Wishes wedding in Epcot followed by our pre-reception from 10:00 to 11:00 and then reception from 11:00 to 3:00. We then had an IllumiNations Dessert Party in Epcot starting around 8:30.

After our reception, we spent about 2 more hours with Misty (our photographer) taking pictures around the Boardwalk. We were staying at The Boardwalk so around 5:00 we went up to our room to get changed (I just had to get out of that big white dress). We rested for a while and has something light to eat (we were in a DVC room so we had a kitchen). We got dressed again around 7:00 and walked around The Boardwalk and over to Epcot. We were able to get in a little after 8:00.

After our reception, our guests were brought back to their resorts. From speaking to most of them, it seem like some napped, some swam, some ate and just hung out. We did not provide bus service back to Epcot for our Dessert Party so around 7:30 they headed back to Epcot using Disney transportation. They were met in the front of Epcot by a guide and were walked into Epcot.

As it was November and the evening was cold - most people came back in jeans, sweaters and jackets. DH and I were in our bridal outfits and my DH's guys actually wore their tuxes - and they looked very handsom.

I think most of my guests probably napped. I know a few went to the pool and I think a few kept the party going by hitting the lounge in their resorts... I have seen some photos floating around lol!

Our photographer went back to their hotel room to rest as well (they were not local) It would have been nice to take photos during that time but we were exhausted and didn't really care too much at the time. We went back to the AKL and I took off my dress and relaxed... and ate wedding cake lol. Robert slept but I could not fall asleep. I was too worried about hair etc.

Haha, I'd forgotten about hair!

It's tempting to go for morning, as I know i'll be so anxious and wont sleep the night before - and 2.30 would be a looong wait!

I like the 2:30 time slot, that is what I wanted but when I changed my date it wasn't available. It would have been nice to have everything run straight through but it was also nice to have a break in between. Whatever you do will be great. Both times have pros and cons.
