I think I'd like to try the animation thing next time. I can't draw AT ALL, but I'm sure it would be fun.

Day 7 January 7th 2009

Rise and shine it is morning time. The alarm went off at 7am.We wanted to be a MK for the opening of MK today. So up we all got and moving! We arrived at MK, in plenty of time. We had a great spot right in front of the entrance. We waited about 2o minutes and then here we go. I was so excited to see the opening of MK.

I believe I have the moves down for the dancers, and think I could do that everyday for a job.We stopped for some pictures in front of the castle. Everyone we had taken as a family turned out awful. I mean awful. Out of focus, blurry, eyes closed, they are horrible. These are ones DH took. It was very warm that day, but cloudy.

We headed right to fantasy land, and rode peter pans flight. DH was yelled at by a CM for taking a picture of DD and myself. I mean she really laid it into him.DS was embarrassed by him. We walked on; I refuse to wait in a line for this ride. Then we rode Dumbo since it was a 15 minute wait. DH does not do Dumbo.
He sat far away from Dumbo too. He gets dizzy just watching it go around.

Then we headed over to the tea cups.

After getting off the tea cups I spotted the evil step mom and the evil step sisters. DS decide he did not want to get his pictures taken with them. But they decided he would.

I wish DH kept recording becuse they would not let him go.
It was very funny. But this is all he got.

After that we lined up at pixie hollow to see Tink. We waited an hour to see her and the fairies. I was putting my family through serious pain in waiting in this line. No one was really into it, but me. I really wanted to see Tink. The faries were really cute, and their interaction was great. We did have a strange CM who was a bit too much. He freaked my son out so much that he did not want to get his picture taken. He told us to fly away humans when we were done. He was a little over the top.

We then waited in line and rode Space Mountain. We then did are traditionally ride on the people mover, and stayed on until someone waved at us. I was almost screaming at people to wave since we had FP for BTMRR. A young girl screamed back Hi people! I think she got yelled at by her Mom. SORRY! We then took the train ride around to Frontier town and rode BTMRR. We had seen something here that I was very shocked about. We showed our FP’s to the CM at the bottom and he let us through but there were two adult women and three children in front of us that told the CM that their party was already ahead of them, and he let them go. Well when they got to where you have to hand in your FP’s they told that CM that the guy already took them. I could not believe it. The CM was he is not supposed to do that. They said well he did. So she let them through. They were in front of us in line saying see I told you it would work. I was so disguised by it, that I want back to the CM and told her that they had done, and what they said to the CM. I thought this kid could lose his job over this. These were women in their forties, with children. What are you teaching your children? We ate an early lunch at Peco bills, after BTMRR. Which was great. I know you are not expecting pictures of food right. Good because I don’t have any! I do know DH and DS both got cheese burgers and DD and both got the wraps. After that we rode pirates one more time and took some fun pictures.

Been a long time since we had our picture taken with hook.

We said goodbye to MK till our next trip. I was sad of course, felt like I needed to kiss the castle goodbye. But didnt.

We headed to Epcot to found some characters.

No artist here in this house. My Dh got yelled at beacsue he came over and took a picture of us on the ride. I meant to post it.

Hi Jo, They did a wonderful job with pixie hollow. It is very magical.
Yes, we started that WDW tradition a couple trips ago. DH and I just wanted to stay on and relax, so he came up with the idea. He told the kids we could get off when they had four people wave to them. If you need to relax it is a perfect game for young children, or in our case now a family tradition.

Hi Everyone,
So sorry that I have not finished the day yet. This weekend was very busy. My DS had a big relay race, though I did not run I was exhausted after the day. DD and DS both play softball/baseball.DD want out for LAX at school this year and made the team. So we are in spring mode here...busy, busy. Though the weather sure does not feel like spring. I tried on Sunday to post an update and the DIS was down. So then I forgot to email it to myself at work, and then of course today I go to post it and photo bucket again is not supporting me in wrapping up this trip report. I have about five pictures that keep coming out large. I have tried numerous times to fix them. So I might have to wait till tonight to post. Sorry....

We arrived at Epcot in search of characters.DD and DS were making fun of DH because he was on this character hunt. He would say ok we need the duck, the genie, and the beast. DUCK,GENIE,BEAST! I remember how warm it was on this day. Unlike the weather right now here in Pa. I don't think We are ever going to warm up.The first character we spotted to get our picture taken with was Donald duck. DH and my picture came out awful on the photo pass.You can barley see us it is so dark. I refuse to share it. I was so hoping this picture would come out better, since it was the only one we had taken just the two of us with the photopass.

We got in line to get a picture with snowwhite and dopey. The line was very long, and we waited a long time. The kids were not to happy. We were in one of those lines were there is not shade and everyone is cranky, adults included. Not me though, I was soaking up those Florida rays and loving it. I knew that at home is was windy cold and snowing since I spoke to my DN earlier in the day. Wishing I could soak up some Flordia rays right now!

Then will I was in line getting chocolate crepe's DH saw Genie. He comes over yelling the genie... the genie. I was like Ok, calm down. I wonder sometimes about him.... So I said well go get in line, and wait. Men....

BTW chocolate crêpes are very yummy....
Will in line, there was some confusing because some people wanted their picture taken with the Genie and Aladdin. The genie was just standing there waiting for Aladdin. So when we want ahead of people because we told the CM we just wanted to get a picture with the Genie. Some people way in the front of the line got mad. So the CM then told everyone, that if you just wanted a picture with the genie to make a new line. If you want a picture taken with both then stay in the other line.

DH also spotted the Beast and Belle. We did not get in he picture this time.

DD and I shopped around in the different stores. DS bought some candy. DH and DS hit the benches. LOL When we got to UK, DD and I got in line for pooh and friends.DH and DS went and listen to the Beatles invasion. Pooh and freinds were great. They had to go get pooh some honey, but were right back. I love the area you meet them in.

On the way out we hit the Ice Station Cool for a drink. DH and DS are brave and try everything again, yes even the Beverly. I am not a soda drinker, so I take a sip of the one kind I know taste ok. I think it was from Mexico. The floor in here is awful sticky. My shoes were sticking to the floor. So I waited outside, till they were done. We said goodbye to Epcot till our next trip, and headed to DHS for dinner at Pizza planet.

We catch the bus to DHS. Eating at Pizza planet is a another WDW tradition for us. In 2000 we ate here and my DS was a huge Toy story fan as a little boy. His first movie he saw in the theater, was Toy story.So we head over and guess what? They were closed.They closed at 5:30 today and it is 5:43. We were all sad, hungry and not in a magical mood. I actually was looking forward to some not so great pizza. So we sat around figured out where to eat dinner at now. Mama Melrose's looked really busy, but smelled so good. DH wanted to see if we could get into sci-fi but I was not up for a burger. DH remind me that I need to get my picture taken under the umbrella so we want to see if the lights were taken down. No luck, but I did it anyway. I thought if I get yelled out, I will play like I don't understand English, or tell him the DIS told me to do it.

My children call be a rebel now. LOL
So we decide to go back to our resort POFQ and get something to eat there.We were starving by time we got there. I order a Philly cheese steak with fried onions and peppers,and I have to tell you I was very impressed how good it was at the resort. They have a huge selection of food. DH had Pepperoni Pizza. DS ordered a meatball sub, which he said was very good.DD had chicken club wrap. DS, DD and myself shared a order of the Beignets. They were good. They make them on the spot for you.

We had talked about going to DTD after eating and freshen up. But everyone agreed that they rather chill at the resort.So we want back to the room and relaxed for a little bit. I packed what I could pack to go home. After that DS and DD wanted to hit the resort pool so we put on our bathing suits and want swimming. As soon as we get to the pool the life guard said that it was 8pm and the slide closing. So I never got to go down the slide. After we swam or a while, We went back to the resort. Dh and DS want to the arcade and then DD and I took a ride on the resort boat to POR.

We thought about going up here early to the pool, but thought we would freeze, since there was a slight chilly wind tonight. POR was a huge resort compared to POFQ. Very beautiful riding along the river. As soon as we got off we saw the horse carriages. We walked around the resort and shopped in the gift store. I had my eye on a sweatshirt, and wish I bought it. Instead I bought a frame and a small thing of toothpaste, since we ran out. LOL The gift shop here was a nice size and really had a lot compared to the other resorts we have stayed at so far. DH called my cell and wanted to know where we were, I told him POR! lol

We then want back to the resort, took showers packed and called it a night. Today was my favorite day of our vacation, though it was one of those days at WDW were we felt like we had to do it all. It was a great day. I set the wake up call for the last time.Tomorrow I have to soak in as much magic as I can, before going back to cold, dark, unmagical Pennsylvania.

We did, you are really going to love it. I hop eyou can keep them up, and make sure you take a boat ride over to POFQ. The boys would liek the pool there.

Hi everyone,
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend. I started my spring clenaing today.
Bathroom and Patio are done. A zillion more rooms to go. Taking a break, my arms got a work out scrubbing the walls. I found a new home to upload my photos, so one day this week I will finish up my TR. I was trying to catch up with everyone else's today. Hoping to book a cruise next month for Aug. I have my heart sat on putting my feet in some blue water this summer.
