Can you believe it next week we leave for WDW. Last night it hits me that it feels really strange that next week we are leaving for Disney World and the kids have no idea. Thursday I told DH that FIOS called and they asked if they could come earlier to hook us up to FIOS. So now we have an alibi. DH has still not brought me home a box from work to put the balloon in. I am going to kill him if he does not do it today. I made a new sign to attach to the balloon. I will have to take a picture of it the night before and post it for you all. I got some more things packed like P.J's because I noticed they were not on my packing list. I wonder what else I forgot to write down.
I need to get some major purell, since I keep hearing all this stories about the virus in WDW. It would be our luck to have this amazing trip planned, and go down there and get sick. I am thinking about ripping the sheets off the bed and washing them myself when we get there. I already had Clorox wipes packed for cleaning the toilet myself and sink area, and small trial Lysol spray, but I hear they won’t help.Well I need to go and get my cleaning, and cooking done. I have Christmas Eve here at our house and everyone will be here tonight.

Get a small thing of lysol and spray the bed! That what I do and will do again! There's way to many germs!! If I could disinfect every surface they touch while we're there I would! Especially after the boys got sick last trip and the stomach bug in the family this week! I don't need or want another repeat of either!!

I am finshing up watching the disney parade on the computer Kids are now playing with the Wii with DH. We just got done rocking with world tour.
My sister last night was the last one to leave and said "so is Megan (DN) watching the dogs will you are away! Right in front of the kids, all I could say was no, never she would watch them. I could have slapped her. After she left I was so pissed. I just told her like two weeks ago, and this is why. I know DD is picked up on it. Just Thursday DH said something at dinner in front of DD, almost to the same effect. I should have not told her, I knew it.
Well Merry Christmas everyone. I will post some pics later on, have to clean up the house.

So today I am trying to do some of the packing. I am freaking out though, because I don’t know what to pack. I am trying to pack light as possible of course. Here is what weather.com says so far. What do you think? DH is no help, but then he is trying to fix the hole in the wall today. So I should not complain. We will wear our jackets and leave them in the car when we get to the airport. The weather here says high of 45 and sunny that day. We will all have sweatshirts to wear on plane ride down. I have so much to do. I just yelled at DH because he total forgot to transfer money from our ING account to the checking account. Now the money will not be in the account to withdraw till the day we leave. His butt is going to the bank before we leave not mine. I still have to make a appointment for a pedicure. DS and DD bought me a gift card for Christmas. I usually do my own in the summer, and just get manicures.I need to go store and figure out what we will need from now till the day we leave. I need dog food I know that!

Christmas Eve I have everyone in my family here at our house. Christmas day we go to DH's Aunts house for a big family sit down dinner. This year was a bit strange with my Mom not hear with us. I stressed a little bit,and then thought why am I stressing? It just my family coming over. Who cares if I did not get the floors mopped today. Christmas day my DD and DS were up at the crack of dawn, like they always are on Christmas day. I heard them talking at 6:30am, They did not wake DH and myself up till 8:30am. By 9am I was cooking christmas breakfast. I wachted the parade all by myself this year. I kept yelling guys Mickey Mouse. We had a hard time getting out of the hosue to go to DH's Aunts house for dinner. We were a little late, but then his Aunt never told me a time for dinner. We just assumed the time. we got there just when dinner was being put on the tables.

I just got back from the Mall and Kohl’s. I found DD some short on the clearance rack at Limited too. Got my myself two new tops with a gift card I received for Christmas. For WDW we always match in the same color family, but this trip is just impossible to do that every day. It always looks nice for pictures, but I just don’t have the time and energy to put into it this trip.
It is hard enough with me trying to steal clothes from DD and DS closets without them noticing.
I Did what grocery shopping I needed to for just what we will need before we go. Come home and my DS of course said "you trying to starve me?" I said no. I only had three bags of food. Eat all the Christmas cookies and candy in the house.
So I have dinner cooking and getting ready to watch the Eagles play.
I will pack more tomorrow when I get home from work.
I can not believe I will be in WDW this week!

I'm sorry when I read about your ds's basketball net falling on your car because the same thing happened to me. We were going to get a big decal for on the hood maybe a yankee one, they have a whole bunch of them on ebay, but DH got into an accident on a bad weather night and the ins. guy put it in with our claim to have the rest of the car repaired. Your Christmas tree looks nice! We started putting up a fake tree about 6 years ago and now we can put it in the living room where the wood burning stove is and not worry about it drying out and it gives us more room in the family room where we spend more time. This year I went out on black friday and bought a tree with the lights on it, and boy am I glad I did it's so nice to not have to mess around with the lights. I am excited for you with your trip so close. You may want to consider taking a taxi on NYE, I'm not sure of the cost but I don't think it's more than $10 and it could save you a lot of time. When are you planning on telling the kids when you are going? (sorry if I missed this if you already posted it) My ds17 is autistic and expects to leave right away when he sees the luggage come out, so I've been packing on the sly for years. I pack all the toiletries first since we can do with out these and I put them away and then I go through all our clothes and write down what we are taking and then I put them together in the drawers or hang them together, it's a little crazy but if I stay organized with lists I manage okay, but it sure is a pain in the butt. Sorry to ramble so much, I guess I'm catching up on my lack of dissing time. Linda

The dog did not chew it. She used her nails and dug through it... yeah. She still has nails at that.
There was no way she could have chewed it. Dh patched it up. He wont be able to fix it till we get back.I am so excited. I can not waite to yell we are going to disney world.

Two more days to go! I am packed, well what I can pack. I got everything packed except for three new shirts that DD got for Christmas. I won’t be able to steal them out of her closet till tomorrow night. At least till after she dresses tomorrow. Then I just have to put the things we still need to use Wednesday morning. YES Wednesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!
Luggage has been weighed by DH. We came under weight, so you know what that means…I can throw in some water bottles! I got the magical express luggage tags on, and I am ready to go. I am so excited. My DN came over tonight and I showed her everything that I could think of. This will be the first time she has house/ dog sat for us. My Mom always watched the house and dogs for us when we want away. Unless she was going with us, then we boarded them. I was trying to be sneaky, because DD was not supposed to be home when she came over. Hopefully, I remembered everything I needed to show her. I have a note to put on the refrigerator for her before we leave.

I got the bathroom cleaned tonight, floors vacuum, animals cages cleaned. Tomorrow, I have to clean the oven. I know why clean the oven? Well I have not cleaned it since before Thanksgiving and it is dirty. I will be embarrassed if my DN goes to use it. I am a clean freak, but the oven is one thing I don’t care to much about being cleaned. I guess because I cook so much, that it just gets dirty again. Heck you can’t see it. Right? I have to get my car cleaned; because my friends son is coming to get my car to fix my hood damage will I am gone. He is only charging me $200.
So I am off to bed, though last night I did not sleep to well. I kept thinking of all the things I need to do.
