DS2 is OBSESSED with Lilo and Stitch. He watches the movie about 3x a day. So, I thought it was a good idea to add an ADR for the last day of our vacation. Our flight isn't until 8:45 pm, so I figured we would take a while getting everything packed and check out (since we will be at MK EMH the night before). I am just nervous that going at 10:55, we will be disappointed with the quality/quantity of food. It says breakfast buffet ends at 11 am. Do they still make fresh food that late in the morning?

Also, what kind of interaction can we expect? We have done O'Hana for dinner, but never for breakfast.

I'm pretty sure 'Ohana's breakfast is served "Family Style" so you wouldn't have to worry about the buffet being replenished. If they give you a reservation, they will make fresh food for you. Enjoy!!!

We've gone at 11 and had fresh plates. Characters seem to interact longer because the restaurant isn't that big. Enjoy!

Are there organized activities like at dinner? Are there songs to sing and dance to like the Playhouse DIsney or Chef Mickey meals?

Last November we had a late reservation like that and it was great. The food was all very fresh and we had alot of character interaction because the restaurant was emptying. The characters came around a few times and really played around with the kids. I would take the late reservation in a heartbeat. Have fun.:)

We had a 10:45 seating once and never again. We weren't seated until WELL after 11:00 - and we no longer got seated than the characters made one last tour around the restaurant and went off shift. We hadn't even gotten our food yet. No apologies from management, no nothing.

We love Ohana and make it a regular thing, but I'll never do a last seating character meal again.

We did the last seating once, but not by choice. Yes while the characters did espend alot of time with the kids our server was terrible. She disappeared in the back forever. We asked for refills on the food and it took forever and she forgot the syrup etc. I think she was tired from the crowd and just needed a rest. I also had the same experience at a really late Chef Mickey dinner, great character interaction but poor service/server. They obviously wanted to go home too etc. I had to practucally beg for a drink refill. I think we might even had to ask another server to get our server.

Best of luck whatever you decide.

Ohana's breakfast is NOT a buffet. They bring a platter to your table and you serve yourself. There are eggs, sausage, fruit, bacon, potatoes and mini mickey mouse waffles. They will continue to bring you food as long as you want more. Ohana's is one of our favorite breakfast for both the food and the character interactions.
