10/31 3 night, Hidden Porthole!! :D

I am so excited! I just booked this cruise for our 5th anniversary 11/1. Cathy at Dreams Unlimited was so helpful!! We got cabin 5520, which from the pictures on Barb's site looks like a great view. A couple of questions -

Do people bring costumes for Halloween? Are there any special activities? Any feedback on this cabin?

We've been it it a couple of times, and it's been relatively peaceful other than hallway traffic since it is at the head of the hall. On one trip, there were two families in the adjoiners next door, and they were a bit noisy going in and out but nothing major (you seem to have a higher chance of having a large family or group next door due to the adjoiners). But hallway noise can happen anywhere on the ship, and in 5520 you have that great free porthole Just be aware that there may be workmen outside on occasion and use the drapes when you want privacy. We've got that room booked several more times through the end of 2003! It's so nice to have daylight, and deck 5 is a very convenient location.

We too are going on the 3 night Oct. 31 Wonder!! I have seen on these boards that they do have trick-or-treating, costume contests and lots of fun things for Halloween!

cat 10, deluxe inside stateroom . to anwser your question Davidross. we like the location and think it is a pretty good deal
only rooms we have been in , once we had to get a cat 9
deluxe outside stateroom, because we used our dvc points to book. peter
