10/3 MHP Fireworks question

At the MHP on 10/3 we didn't see the sphere balloon thing with the face of Jack over the castle like in years past. We sat on the far right side on the pathway to the wishing well. Were we just not able to see it from our spot or did they not use it that night??

I needed to ask because this is driving me crazy and I know that other parties this year the sphere was in full use.
