I haven’t received anything regarding when we can start entering AK. Apologies if I’m just overlooking it. I think I read that the times would be released closer to the event, but we are less than a week away. Thanks!

Usually they let us in to MM a couple of hours before park closing, and the event officially starts an hour after the park closes. That’s just a guess.

Since the park closes at 6 pm that evening, early entry would be around 4 pm (maybe a little prior).

DISNEY FILES ‘TRIP TIPS’ FOR MOONLIGHT MAGIC

Congratulations on successfully registering for the upcoming Disney Vacation Club® Moonlight Magic event at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park.

To get you ready for this moonlit evening of magic and nature, the Disney Files staff is excited to share some ‘trip tips’ to help you make the most of your after-hours party in the park.

Don’t forget your Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card. Both your valid Disney Vacation Club Digital Membership Card and photo ID are required at check-in. Your Digital Membership Card should be added to the digital wallet of your mobile device before arrival, as using the temporary card will not expedite the check-in process. Visit www.disneyvacationclub.com/card if you need help. It’s important to note that the Member selected during the event registration process must be in attendance to check in their full party, and the entire party must che ck in together. The event is unable to accommodate parties that did not register in advance.

Checking in.​

While the event officially begins at 7 p.m., you may check in as early as 4 p.m. at the Main Entrance of Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park. If you’re enjoying the parks before our after-hours party begins (so, prior to 4 p.m.), this requires a separate paid theme park admission and park reservation, and you may find the in-park check-in location at Up Country Landing Dock from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. (look for event signage).

Park freely! Beginning at 4 p.m., parking will be available at no charge for registered Members attending Moonlight Magic. Please proceed to any open spots for convenient access to the park’s Main Entrance.

Delight in tasty treats.​

Upon arrival, each person in your party will receive three snack certificates on us, which you may redeem across the park at participating food & beverage locations, including (but not limited to) Satu’li Canteen, Restaurantosaurus and Trilo-Bites. You may even satisfy your late night, sweet tooth cravings with ice cream novelties at Creature Comforts, Ice Cream Cart near Tamu Tamu Refreshments, and Ice Cream Cart near Theater in the Wild in DinoLand U.S.A.

Dress comfortably.​

We recommend packing extra layers for this occasion, as Florida temperatures tend to fluctuate. And if you’d like those comfy layers to be particularly fit for the occasion, shop Disney Vacation Club merchandise inside Discovery Trading Company starting at 4 p.m. Discounts apply.

Have fun!​

There’s something for everyone during this moonlight adventure! Enjoy some of your favorite attractions across the park with shorter-than-usual wait times, including Expedition Everest, Flight of Passage and Dinosaur (please note that the following attractions located in DinoLand U.S.A. are temporarily closed for refurbishments – Triceratop Spin, Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama and Fossil Fun Games.) Plus, be on the lookout for special entertainment and appearances by Disney Characters you don’t often have a chance to meet. For registered DAS Guests, please visit the Guest Relations Lobby upon arrival to the theme park.

Last one we were at they allowed you to enter (and park in needed) at 4pm …party started at 7
