we have one of the 7A secret verandah rooms on Deck 6 - cabin 6634.
I tried for Deck 7 but nothing available.

Then I remembered the Magic did away with that secret aft deck on 7 so we're good.

I didn't know they did away with the secret deck on 7. That was one of Don's favorite spots. He'll just have to find a new one.

I am super excited that this will be my first Disney Cruise!! We booked with a TA and were able to get a Verandah Room! I will be stalking this thread often for any tips and tricks for a cruise. This is our second cruise ever.

Has anyone gone during Halloween? What are some of the activities on board? Do people bring costumes?

We are very excited too! This will be our first Halloween cruise so I'm not able to give you any help on what to expect but I'll be happy to report back on anything I come across from this years sailings.

I do know in the past they hosted an adult costume contest.

I say Welcome also! Have not been on a Halloween cruise, but I have a co-worker who will be on this years, so I can get some first hand info when they get back.
I did have the opportunity to be on a cruise last Sept. where the atrium had a huge "pumpkin tree". It was awesome - Remember Poison Ivy?
I'll try to find one of the pictures and post it.

You can't bring them in directly from your computer.

Thank you all! We have a couple of costumes that we've worn to MNSSHP, and I think they'd be perfect for the cruise. Now, to wait that year and 30 days!!

Ok so while we wait for Henlady to figure out how to post a pic

All I can say is the refurbished Magic has been a bit light on Halloween sailings these past two years due to the European cruises.

2013 there were only 3 October sailings

10/20/2013 - 5 Night Bahamian Cruise
10/25/2013 - 2 Night Bahamian Cruise
10/27/2013 - 5 Night Caribbean Cruise

2014 looks to be hosting only 2

10/21/2014 - 5 Night Port Canaveral
10/26/2014 - 7 night eastern caribbean

I'll see if any trip reports w/photos are out there to give us an idea of what to expect.

Hello fellow cruisers.....I've been absent for a bit....getting ready for the 11/10 double dip, can't wait for that. And did book the theme park view room at the Contemporary for late May to celebrate our 40th Anniversary. Also just dealing with mom and brothers medical issues. Maybe someday I'll get the pic of that pumpkin tree posted.

Hi there! My DW and I just booked this cruise for next year. We just got off the October 11 sailing of the Wonder and got to see the Halloween events there. They were great.

Some things not to miss:
First two nights at the tree between the dinners
Halloween costume party in the Atrium
"4D" version of Nightmare Before Christmas
All the decorations!

Hello fellow cruisers! We just did OBB for this cruise on our Fantasy cruise we just got off of. This will be our 15th DCL cruise (unless we get an FLR rate for Jan or Feb, in which case this will be our 16th DCL cruise lol).

My birthday is Oct. 30th so we enjoy cruising that week. The Halloween festivities on the Fantasy were great this year.

I look forward to chatting with all of you!
